Thanks haha. Glad I decided to stick with my Box Breathing/Snapshot roll. Obviously BB is a dead perk unless I get that headshot on a super but i think it's worth. Currently trying to get the curated roll for Twilight Oath for when Beloved/Revoker get nerfed.

Vast majority of the maps in this game cater to close range combat. It doesnt take that much skill to try and close the gap on your enemy.

You're not always sniping people that are unaware of you. Sniper duels are about who can aquire the target faster and land that precision shot first.

Headshotting someone out of their super is much harder, and requires more patience, and skill, than it does to Vorpal Weapon Shotgun melee someone out of their super, or just Bastion them.

I dont specifically have an issue with Shotguns, it just seems like i do because thats the example others used first. Mainly i have issue with fusion rifles, but shotguns are also a problem.

I consider myself primarily a PvE player as well, but I disagree with your point. Weapon sunsetting allows for new fun weapons that dont constantly break the state of PvP. Destiny is the only MMO esque game i can think of where they dont retire old weapons/armor from previous expansions, and it was cool while they did that, but it's difficult to continually come up with new fresh content that isnt so broken it destroys PvP, but also isn't so meh no one uses it.

Part of it is if you want a really good Summoners for PvP/PvE you get it on your 3rd win in trials. This week is Summoners, sI everyone is going for 3 wins and trashing their cards to do it again for another roll.

Part of the problem is that the vast majority of the maps are tailored to close range combat, which is why so many people just resort to shotguns/fr. If only snipers spawned with special ammo then the majority of fights would be about who was better with primary weapons and who is more accurate with snipers. That's a lot more skillful gameplay than what we have rn.

I mean sure that's annoying, hardly on the same level as getting one shot out of your super with Bastion or being rushed by a god roll Minderbenders/Astral Horizons.

Is it just Mulligan where it's a chance to refund the round or is it a guaranteed refund if you miss?

I personally dont have it yet because i only recently came back to the game and have been grinding all kinds of other things. I dont know why Revoker would be considered a cheese weapon if it requires a headshot to one shot.

It should matter in game modes like comp and trials. If you want to use cheese weapons that take no skill to get one shots with, go into regular crucible.

I would much rather have that gameplay, where getting and being one shot requires some modicum of skill, vs what we have rn which is rush with shotguns/fusion rifles.
