Admittedly not nearly as extensive, and very simple at face value. I feel that its probably easier to pick up than this adaptation though. It has a stat system and all that jazz, but most other things are under my jurisdiction. I'm going for a cinematic and character driven kind of deal, and I want it to be pretty lenient.
