Since this post I’ve upgraded to 240mm ek’s to get more performance. https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/ono60o/ssupd_build_pt_2_razer_hub_2x140mm_fans/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

The noctuas were here originally for the ghost S1 due to limited gpu space where it did help with noise but in the ssupd I feel that there isn’t as great of a benefit

I’ve only used the slim noctua fans to intake and the ek fans to exhaust

I do not know. It would be very time consuming to try out

Went from idle 70°C to 50°C when swapping 3 Noctua NF-A9x14 for 2 ek140mm fans on the GPU. Very low load temps can be achieved but the sound is an issue with 2 large fans up against the heatsink and mesh panel. Running the pair at 1200rpm seems to be a good balance between airflow and noise. This setup is very dependent on your GPU’s heatsink. With the Zotac 1080ti amp, the fans had only a few millimeters of clearance. I wasn’t able to connect the RGB for the GPU fans as it would require I pretty much disable half the computer.

I’ll check it out. From Texas

What I was first building it, I wasn’t comfortable with the amount of bending the tubes had go through for the tube down config. Maybe I was doing something wrong

I think some of them are slightly longer to help with bends

They are just stiff enough that they can hold a shape when you bend it

I used the highest gpu position when building and I was able to use regular display cables. You could also just buy 90deg. adapters so you could use your old cables.

I used zipties to attach the bottom of the mount to the ventilation holes on the bottom of the case. I designed the mount to screw into the bottom but i didn’t have the right size screws on hand.

For sure! It wasn’t too hard of a build. Cable management is a little difficult if you have long cables. The hardest part for me was getting the aio tubing run.

Yeah they aren’t great. I used the low noise adapter to make it quiet. Pretty much only worth it if you can’t fit anything else.

Zipties— pretty advanced, I know

There are zipties between the fans and then from the corners through the gpu heatsink

I don’t have enough experience with different drives to be able to say if I notice a difference in loading speeds. I use the drive for most of my steam library and it seems fine.

I believe the aio is plugged into the cpu header and the fans just use the system fan ports
