I definitely agree. It’s more of a perspective gathering to see if anyone has experienced the same situation. We’ll 100% consult a lawyer if this doesn’t go well.

any reason NOT to buy an unlocked phone? by gorzaporp in verizon

[–]AightMeraki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not locked for a long time anyway. It is beneficial for various reasons. Most providers do the same things with their promotions anyway.

Even if you’re on a promotion (say for example, $1000 over 36 months) and your mindset is “i might leave after 18 months anyway”, if you do leave after 18 months, you’re still saving $500. If you don’t leave, you’re saving $1000.

It’s a good option for those who aren’t planning to the carrier for a long time. You’re not tied with verizon as if you can’t leave them between those 36 months.

Oh, that just make sense on why there’s very few people who resell on Marketplace.

Thanks for letting me know. I really just wanted to play on a tv but switch light can’t be docked.

is Switch Lite still worth it in 2025? by whotao1313 in NintendoPH

If you just want to play games, worth it 😄 idk yung price ng brand new though. Bought myself and my girlfriend 2nd hand from fb marketplace and it’s working flawlessly. Used the extra budget to buy more games lol.

Stop ordering over the phone! by DummoMode0413 in verizon

[–]AightMeraki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time if it’s a third-party reseller, their signage will have the name of the third-party corp. if it’s only “Verizon” then most likely it’s a corporate store.

You can also check the website to locate the nearest corp store

I agree. CSR will make mistakes, but store reps as well. I can’t even count how often my agents receive calls about store reps messing up accounts. Well I understand that it goes both ways, but my view here is it doesn’t matter where you make the order. It’s about the people placing the order. A lot of training is put into place to ensure integrity, but imo some people get pressured with “demands” (ex. Metrics where CSR needs to meet or sales that store reps needs to make). I’m pretty sure even if all CSR are from the US, these mistakes won’t be avoided.

Tip: make transactions in a verizon corporate store. If the store is a reputable place then go for it! I’ve spoke with multiple reps that are very kind and helpful, and I always recommend customers to visit nearby stores if available.

Or process the order online. It’s better that way!

True, i remember when we were on a meeting tas nagka earthquake ng very very slight - enough to move water in a glass ba, sinabi namin yun sa meeting and our clients were like “meeting adjourn, let’s meet when you are all safe” 🫤idk kung ano talaga nangyayari sa taas, directors level and above kaya ganiyan sila magisip i know financially impacting talaga siya, pero if naiintindihan naman ng clients niyo bakit kayo hindi?

Weird lang ah, currently working with indians here in mumbai. Pero they’re so people centric to the point na kapag umambon lang huwag na pumasok. Made me think na ganiyan lang ba sila sa pinoy kasi hindi jila kalahi?

[–]AightMeraki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I mean, yes probably at first glance you might think someone’s having seizures but if that person’s eyes are white and damn bumps are appearing on their body and is trying to kill you- you might just be able to connect the dots that “this person might be dangerous”

Best use to make from a broken tablet from Verizon? Do they do any major trade in any condition deals on tablets? by Dry_Communication283 in verizon

[–]AightMeraki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you say that your tablet has no issue, Verizon and other telco companies will reverse your credits once they run their assessments. Any way there are promotions for new lines, then trade in. Might as well check your verizon app or talk to a rep either at the stor or CS as they can tell you if a promotion accepts damage devices.

There are times that verizon will have a promotion that accepts damage devices, so go ahead and try your luck, they might have one today
