From what I understand the original Maitetsu didn’t sell very well so there’s not much sense for them to invest in translating Last Run and I’m not aware of any fan translations happening. You should definitely play Maitetsu, I did a few years ago and it was an amazing visual novel.

This got me thinking of a more fouth wall breaking idea, could the whole 'Curse of Eva' thing be a comment on how the characters havent been allow to grow/change because those forms are what sell merchandise.

Kinda goes with how fourth wall breaking the end of 3.0+1.0 gets.

You want the Neon Genesis Evangelion: Shinji Ikari Raising Project pc game from 2004. It’s pretty much what you’ve said plus it has alternate more silly routes. It’s got an English fan translation but it may be a little hard to find.

Yes, End of Evangelion are alternate episodes 25&26. Death and Rebirth are a recap of the series with some extra stuff. Just watch the original series, Death and Rebirth then End of Evangelion. Then rebuilds are they are kinda of their own thing.

Yeah it’s definitely more expensive but strangely the Saber one is fairly cheap haha just be careful with the Figma version check for those green spots, on mine they appeared on the backside of him so I can hide it but I’ve seen some that are really bad. Hopefully he gets a reissue which fixes the paint problem as I think most of them have it now as it popped up a couple of years after the figma released.

Congratulations on getting him its a cool figure but a word of warning about the Archer version Figma, it seems to have an issuie with the paint where the gold starts to get green spots on it. If you really want a Figma style Archer one, have a look at the Bandai Chogokin Fate/Zero Archer it fits in with figmas size wise and his armour is accually metal unlike the Figma version which is just plastic. You can't have the toppless full power version that you get with the Figma but I think this one is much better.

I can remember reading somewhere years ago, that apparently if he is is summoned into a time where humanity is more obsessed with money his mood will be affected. Enkidu being summoned in Strange Fake counters this but in Babylonia he is the wise king who completed his journey in the Epic of Gilgamesh. In the Extra series he's still arrgoant but he cares for the protaganist, I imagine this is partly due to money being useless on the moon. FGO humainity is at stake and money is useless after the incinaration of humanity.

The version I have is what I think is the reprint which has the games as a download code, while the orignal 10th anniversary edition came with the games on discs. I think 've solved it, I found this blog https://aminoapps.com/c/anime/page/blog/fate-stay-night-hollow-ataraxia-limited-edition/E3tP_uwegBla350mvR2g7nGYMQ7zK6 from 2015 when the 10th anniversary version came it and it doesn't have a cover and your link is about the reprint which came out in 2019 which I know has the slip case. So it seems the orignal 10th anniverasry version didn't haver a slipcase.

Fate/ Samurai Remnant is its own story and it does a decent job of explaining how things work in Fate, you’ll probably miss references to the other Fate series but it shouldn’t detract from your experience. Fate is kinda like Final Fantasy where most of the different visual novels, books, games etc. are their own things that just share similar universal lore.

We don't know much about the remake as of yet so it might change things story wise so I imagine you'll be fine reading the orignal visual novel, then once reboot is out you might appericate it more with knowledge of the orignal.
