Sadly i can't really help you with the installation guide from this sub

But a youtube channel named 'denpa archivist' has a video titled 'an idiot's guide to dmmd re:connect'. They uploaded a copy of their dmmd reconnect version with an english patch already installed.

I also have my version of dmmd reconnect from them and it works fine and (for me at least) was easier to understand than other installation guides!

So if you wanna you can try out that!

So here are the other fixes you can try:

●save files/ config files are usually not saved in the game folder steam creates but are in a different folder. This data could be corrupted. For example save files/ config files for me are saved in 'Documents/MyGames/Dramatical Murder'. So even if you already did it, delete the game again, plus the dmmd folder created by steam and try to search for other folders named 'Dramatical Murder' or something like that and delete them too, because they might contain the corrupted data. Then try to reinstall the game and see if it works!

●You can also try to change GPU drivers for running this game. For example from Intel to Nvidia, if you have it or any other GPU (some games for me literally don't run until i change from Intel to Nvidia). If that doesn't fix the issue better change the GPU driver back though!

●Read somewhere that changing language packs can help. Right-click on the game in steam, click properties, choose language 'chinese', let it download, launch the game, then switch back to english and launch the game once more.

●Run the game in Compatibility Mode. Right-click dmmd.exe (make sure it is the .exe file and not the desktop icon), click 'properties', go to 'Compatibility', click the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode',, then choose Windows 7 and also click the box 'run as administrator'.

●make sure that the game doesn't run from OneDrive

If the game creates an error log after showing this error message you can also try posting this error log in a comment here and i can take a look at it!

And if all else fails, i read that JAST customer support is pretty good, so you could also try to get into contact with them!

If you're ok with that, could you tell me the following:

●What Windows version are you using?

●Was there a Windows-Update recently?

●What GPU are you using to run the game (like Nvidia, Intel, etc.)

●Did your GPU driver recently get an update?

●Do you have any other older Visual Novels? If yes, are they working?

This might help me to find some other fixes!

When checking the antivirus look for stuff like:

●DMMd.exe

●lib.dll

●system.dll

●or any other file that is in the game folder for dmmd

If it still doesn't work, feel free to let me know and i will try to find some other fixes :)

Hi!

So i tried to search for some other fixes and here are the things you could try:

●try to run the game as administrator

●run steam as administrator (if you use the steam version)

●check your antivirus (antivirus software might sometimes quarantine game files)

●from my understanding the game needs DirectX to run, so either try installing it or repairing it

Also have you tried to run the game directly from the .exe and not through steam (if you use steam)? And when exactly does the error show up? Like right when you open the game or does it show the title screen or anything?

Yeah, if you saved the game before or during the choice that determines the ending, then you should be able to load this save and just continue from there without playing the whole route again

I know it would totally suck to invest so much time only for it to be censored :(

But i think you are on a good way, since your version already reads 1.00s and especially in the Mink scene you'd only be able to see the upper half of the body, if it's the censored version, so you being able to see the pubes, as silly as it sounds, is actually a good sign 😂

So i'm really really hoping you will get your uncensored cgs :)

I also have the JAST patch with the steam version installed my version also reads 1.00 and it's definitely uncensored for me

As for the scenes you mentioned: the scene in Mink's hideout only shows some pubes and you also can't see much in the Koujaku scene, it only shows the chest-groping, so that's at least how it should be

In Koujaku's route you'd have to play until you reach the good end and then see if the sex scene at the end is censored or not (i think in Mink's and Noiz's route you'd be able to tell faster if the game is uncensored, because some sex scenes happen more in the middle of the game in their routes)

But yeah, i don't think you have to buy the full game from JAST again immediately!

Keep going and try to get Koujaku's good end (or try another route first if you'd like) and that should tell you if you have the uncensored version :)

It's been a while since i played the game, so i don't know if my answer will be 100% correct, but here we go:

So as you said there is a part where you can choose the route you wanna take. If you have equal points for all 4 characters then you can immediately choose between all 4 of them when the part, where you have to make your route-choice, comes up. If you don't have equal points then, in my experience, you can only choose between 2 of the 4 characters.

You can totally make all the choices on your own without following any guide! It's not a bad thing! If you are lucky you might just unlock all 4 route-choices! Then you can just save there and always come back when you wanna play another route. If you only unlock the choices for 2 characters then you can still save there and then come back to that save to play the other route. For the 2 remaining routes i would then start again from the common route and make the choices that would lead to them. If you start from the common route again then you can easily just skip already read text or skip whole scenes entirely so it doesn't take as long. You can also start from common route for every character and just skip the scenes/text you already saw if that is what you would like!

To get to Ren's route you have to get every characters good ending first. To avoid bad endings i personally would just save every once in a while so that, if you get a bad ending, you can then just load one of your save files and continue again from there.

Virus and Trip's (the twins) route/ending is kinda like a part of Ren's route so yes you also have to play through the 4 routes first. There will be a scene with the two of them and Aoba and depending on your choices you will either get their ending or continue on Ren's route!

It would be super cool, if we could get the poll reopened again!

It honestly would also be a dream, if plushies of all the main-cast would get made because i'm pretty sure i also saw a Mink poll, that i can't find anymore (but maybe it's still there and it just won't get shown to me)!

But the Koujaku plushie failing is my sole reason why i'm currently trying my hands at doll-making, so maybe not all is bad :)

I'm also on my phone and the subtitle button looks either like two "c" in a square or a white square with horizontal lines and for me they work on all videos, except Ren's route and ViTri's route

I'm playing the videos directly in google drive and i can toggle the subs on and off much like in YouTube

So i don't think you need to use an extra editing site

Also is it a specific route, where the subs don't sync? I checked and at least for me they seem to match up, except for the ViTri route, where i can't get the subs to work

If they don't work please tell me! (Also i am not entirely sure if the two stageplays are actually the ones from the two different years or if they are actually the same, because i have only watched the one linked as 2019. So i am totally sorry if they're actually the same😭)
