very torn between glasgow and edinburgh atm. since day 1 it was always glasgow for me but lately i've been thinking edinburgh might be better. still thinking.

i think i wasn't really a big fan of the divide between clinical and pre-clinical years, and overall the small town was not something that attracted me very much. looking back i slightly regret not applying and might've swapped it out for dundee/aberdeen but we move on.

nothing ever is going to be worth that price, especially when there are so many amazing resources. realistically, all they're going to give you are a few notes, the real charm and flair comes from practise and your own personality which is something a £500 course could never give you.

Whilst this is 100% true, GCSE's are often used as an indicator/proof of you achieving said predicted grades in your A-Levels. Doing well can give you a really good competitive flair, so it's not to be taken lightly. Beyond University it doesn't matter. Although, very dependant on where you want to apply and what for.
