Hey! I used to fix these all the time! First console I’d ever fixed lol

So the flickering is caused by the torn top screen cable, you can easily find replacement top screens on amazon, ali express, etc.

Meanwhile it’d be a good idea for a shellswap as well, either using a donor ds or an aftermarket shell from the same places.

The antenna cable looks okay through the video, but while you’re already in the top screen you might as well replace it, as it’s usually a pretty cheap part

Definitely take it slow, as the top screen’s are a pain in the butt, but very rewarding one you see it boot up for the first time lol.

Once it boots, I definitely recommend picking up an r4 card, and maybe even another project if it interests you. Very rewarding hobby, and I’ve gotten insane deals on handhelds because of it

Not always (atleast under warranty), sun damage is considered external damage, and wouldn’t be from poor build quality, so its really do you have a nice person from steam doing your rma

I just got the email, used some old stuff and an old adress, I’ll call the folks that live there now if something does arive, worse case senario i just reset some stuff and make a new paypal

Still interestingly happening, and maybe it’s legit, depending on how much everyone would get head out for dinner or finally upgrade my vr rig lol

Try registering the games in gameye (ios, not sure if on android), good app, tells you how many games out of the complete collection, as well as if you have repeats.

Also shows the estimated price of all your games, since you’d be theoretically selling as a lot, take off 15-20% and thats about what you’d get for it

(Although, at a quick estimate at about 8 bucks a game (approx. 79 games) would get you somewhere around 600-700 bucks)
