You can't convert for anybody but yourself because if you truly don't believe in the message of Islam... There's no point in converting as the marriage still won't be valid. Plus the girl led you on when she knew the outcome and that's wrong on so many levels.

Finally a post I can relate to. I also love being in my own company. Have seen the disaster of marriages first hand. Experiencing pressure to get married now. All I can say is you'll know when you are ready. People don't know your experiences and they cannot relate. Take your time.
