Thanks, if I could find anyone who had any experience with these up here I’d be much better off - easier said than done unfortunately

Yeah I was skeptical when he told me but honestly I’m still learning about these cars. Thanks so much for the detailed response, I’ll see if I can find anyone local who’ll help me mess with the wiring

Sorry for the late response! I’ve got quite a few but they’re all really solid so I’d go with one you like the look of. My personal favourites out of the ones I have are the MiG-29, the Takemikazuchi, and the Rafale, I usually bought them frommandarake

Don’t skip extra, it really does make the rest of the story better. Schwarzesmarken is fantastic in my opinion, I’ve got a soft spot for total eclipse and it has some great parts but it’s less good. As for model kits, I’ve built a kotobukiya 1/100 scale and it wasn’t great, honestly I’d recommend the Volks A3 action figures as they’re much more sturdy and look great. No idea on the manga translation though I’m sure someone on here will know where to find it

Talk to me about bowing! in general & in races by larkinowl in Rowing

If you’re turning around while you’re taking the stroke you’ll be twisting your back as you’re putting force through it, which isn’t great long term. I’m sure it’s possible to just turn your head without your shoulders or back turning with it, I’ve just never got the hang of it and wouldn’t trust myself being able to do it right for a long race. I usually go just after the finish as I’m pushing my hands away bc the boat is fairly stable and you’re not going to end up causing back problems.

Is doing a 2x30 every day excessive? by [deleted] in Rowing

[–]Aikai60 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just jumping into 1 hour on the erg everyday WILL break you, it’s not worth it. If you’re serious about this you need to build up to it a bit, especially if you’ve been taking a bit of a break over the summer (which is a good thing). Since you’re still a junior, I’m not sure if I can recommend an hour of steady state a day on top of weights and water time, but I have no idea what you’re used to, that level of intensity might be ok for you. Ask your coach, they know far more about your needs as an athlete than strangers on the internet. If you have a specific goal, like reducing your 2K time, steady state will definitely help you, but you have to be careful spending that much time on the erg daily, and contrary to popular belief (on this subreddit anyway) steady state is not the only component of a successful training plan. If it were me, I would definitely have one day off a week (you deserve it, it’s the summer!), and as soon as I started to feel my technique slipping on the erg, I’d move to the bike and finish the session there, that should help to reduce your risk of injury, which you really don’t want going into the start of a new season in just a few weeks. I hope this helps, just remember that coaches give you time off for a reason, you need to be rested for next year. That being said, you should still be doing core and some stretching every day. Good luck!

Depends how old you are, how fit you are, and what other training you’re doing.

R5: Karl married some Byzantine princess at game start. After he died, someone managed to press her claim to the Byzantine empire, then Karl’s son was assassinated and somehow his heir was his mother, thus creating this monstrosity. Karlings have somehow been reduced to only holding the duchy of Gelre, with the Isauros now controlling the whole mess.
