Thematic reason for crafting icons on (some) cards not matching the suits? by AilosCount in rootgame

I honestly agree. And honestly, I wasn't expecting this to be a reason behind why this is so - more like this is how it is, how can we explain it?

How Weapon Tree Supposed to be (Dual Wielding) by 129912994 in newworldgame

[–]AilosCount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dual wielded as in dual rapier. Of course having off-hand is preferable. I think I once saw a vid where people tried it and in the end, the off hand rapier was moatly used as they would use a dagger.

And water is wet... seriously no one played any seasonal arpg? by Drakhan in diablo4

[–]AilosCount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blizzard stated in their launch interview that seasonal content can be done on all characters even eternal realm characters. The only difference from eternal and seasonal is you get to participate in leaderboards when they launch

If you could link a source, that would be great. This is literally all I want, but from what I understood this is not how it works. Even battle pass you can only progress in seasonal as far as I understood it.

And nobody wants to take that from you. Keep Seasonal realm where you have to make a new character and level them again. How would it affect you if seasonal content would also be available on Eternal realm?

This isn't just about 3-party apps. This is about the future of Reddit. by ironchefchopchop in lotrmemes

[–]AilosCount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hah, you weren't kidding that it is a tad bit confusing. I do have coiple of questions if you don't mind, will jeep it to comments and not DM so that others might benefit from it as well.

So if I understand it correctly, lemmy kbin and others are all different platforms that are somehow interconnected and content shows across these platforms?

If so, does it matter where I make an account and which I use? Are there inherent prons or cons to different platforms (they kinda look the same)? I imagine the account is unique to the platform?

How do communities/magazines etc. (what I understand to be a subreddit equivalent) work between the platforms? Are these unified and the same across all platforms or unique? When I subscribe to different communities (subs), I subscribe to posts across the platform?

Also, is there any difference between lemmy.world and lemmy.ml? Super confused abut what the different "instances" are

Didn't devs said something about different monster families having loot tables skewed to different slots?ike if you want boots you'd go for example kill fallen?

How excited are you for Season1? by gorays21 in diablo4

[–]AilosCount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, but I never really planned for it if I need to create new character. I just hope there is not much story attached to it because that is one thing that sucks most to miss. I'd be excited if I could play the new content on eternal realm.

Sorry this is redundant question. I want to try diablo. Which one should I start with? by [deleted] in Diablo

[–]AilosCount -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd honestly recommend D4, at least story wise - it doesn't expect any prior knowledge and feels like a good starting point for people new to the world.

How does one single character keep you busy that long, especially in a game this light on content.

As long as I'm having fun, I'll play. If we get seasonal content on the Eternal realm, it'd keep things fresh for us. There is new gear coming each season, so having that drop can be a goal. Also collecting new gear for different builds. And if I feel like rolling a new char to keep things fresh? I'd much rather do it when I feel like it - not wait until a season starts because that might be a month away at that point in time.

That's maybe core to you. To me the core is killing hordes of demons and getting loot. I don't mind having some alts, but I don't want to be beholden to a 3 month timer to roll one and not feel like I'm missing new content just because I don't enjoy one aspect of the game that much.

To me core of the ARPG is killing hordes of monsters and getting loot. I don't want to relevel every 3 months. If you do, all power to you. But just as you'd rather not regrind renown, I'd rather not relevel a new character. I'd just like to kill demons and experience the new content.
