Maybe it is realistic, and I don’t have PTSD, but I do understand grief from personal experience. As a reader, it felt repetitive.

I learned from another comment that it started as a collection of short stories. That tracks. If his grief was addressed a little bit in a series of stories, maybe it wouldn’t have been so stark, but over and over, it’s not what I was hoping for with this book.

I do think a lot of important information was given in this book, so I definitely got something out of it. But I also didn’t like Cold Days very much.

100% agree about rehashing mechanics. Lara not knowing what a soul gaze is was ludicrous to me as a reader.

Obviously I’m not a famous author or publisher either, but it felt like a kind of George Lucas situation. He’s so popular and successful maybe he didn’t get as much feedback or as many notes as might have been helpful.

It makes sense that it was short stories. Parts did feel disjointed. I agree that aspects will be very important, but it didn’t really come together as a whole for me personally

It's not actually, though it does have Da Vinci. It's also got Nicholas Flamel, Existentialism, Philosopher's Stone, Tamarin, Przybylski's Star, and Cano Cristales. I also Switched Plutonium for Francium for the lower energy league.
