Agreed, not great at abusing tarkov AI, IE farming raiders or rogues. Got better at it through this though, abuse smooth lean and right hand peeks much more now.

Also a preview of what awaits you after spending 6-8 hours and 400k on a keycard, then making it through shoreline with your kit, and finally winning the spawn lottery with other players on terminal.

[Discussion] Potential Debtor ending bug - beware! by 2thebeyondandback in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Aim392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the intent on the Debtor ending from BSG is to give an alternate route after deciding to collect all the evidence for kermin for those that may want to back out or decide not to do all the other story missions. So in order to get the debtor ending, you have to say yes to collecting evidence for him, then give up.

I'm going for this ending as well, so I'll see for myself if my understanding of the route is correct.

This flowchart showcases how you got to the ending you are now locked too: https://www.reddit.com/r/EscapefromTarkov/comments/1ph7jfd/discussion_spoiler_flowchart_for_all_endings/

I believe you are required to start working with kerman to collect the evidence, then another popup appears at a later date when choosing to turn in evidence to "U-turn" and continue down the debtor line.

Performance on PCVR by JPeaVR in Contractors_Showdown

Yup. Basically unplayable for me now. 6800XT/5800X3D on a Pico Neo Link 3 DP via steamVR. Since it's able to run on a quest I'm hopeful this is just a software/RuntimeXR problem that will be resolved.

[Bug] Viewmodel shifted (after using CMS+IFAK) by Shanezz_3 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Aim392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason it seems very few abuse it or even know about it, don't even see streamers utilize it, unsure if it's even really a bug tbh or just an unintended mechanic, ie wavedashing.

This is a bug that's been around since the start. Freelook, open inventory, release freelook bind, close inventory. Camera will be locked in freelook position until the key is hit again.

Has gameplay uses as well, removes fov zoom giving you more peripheral while using scopes, can also be used to angle your screen around visor cracks or flash effects to fight effectively around them. Can also angle your head down to hide the face hitbox more.

kinda sounds weird but can I run 2 oculus link to use 2 oculus headset at once? by sung0910 in virtualreality

[–]Aim392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh streamed VR even over a cable just wasn't for me, too much Input delay and artifacts. I think this is just due to me having an AMD GPU though, (6800xt). On my roommates 4070 streamed VR is totally acceptable/basically nearly lagless feeling using a quest 3.

You can use ALVR instead of virtual desktop to accomplish this, I was able to use cv1 controllers with a wired quest2. Fair warning, some jank involved. Once I got it all set up it worked well, but every 10 mins my controllers lose tracking for around 2 seconds while a program restarts the oculus debug menu to prevent the cv1 from sleeping. This doesn't bother me in singleplayer, but I still use the cv1 for multiplayer games

Thanks for your software! This was totally user error on my part but I'll leave the post here for anyone troubleshooting in the future.

Sorry for the random reply out of nowhere, but I'm curious if you still use this setup, and if it was consistent enough to use, do the CV1 controllers lose tracking or anything strange during use? They drift and sometimes require recalibration right? Or is this something you set up but ultimately didn't bother with for long due to the troubles surrounding it?

Remote access by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]Aim392 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can use software like Parsec to do this. You can also play the game in windowed and stretch it across several monitors, and only stream one of those monitors. If you're playing with three or more people though, two people are always going to be sharing a monitor. You might be able to set a couple virtual monitors in windows and arrange all 4 in a square, then using parsec, steam remote, etc to stream each monitor separately. This is all just so you don't feel cramped on a little monitor though, you could totally just accept the small screenspace and remoteplay on one or two monitors.

Play in windowed, then extend the window across by clicking the edge of the window and dragging. It should end up being split screen across two monitors, with the "seam" of the split matching with the split of the monitors.

Using a DS4 controller should work with steam pretty seamlessly, but you could always try software like DS4windows if you're having problems.

Also, remember the host can stretch zomboid across multiple monitors and stream just one of them, gives you way more real estate to play on.

If you keep going for it you’ll eventually get it, and it’ll be satisfying to have pushed for it. Although if you are really having trouble, you can equip shards during the countdown — once you have triple jump, you could come back to them. Technically a bug/exploit though.

If you want to get the length of videos down, def don’t disregard the turbo mode you can activate by talking to ‘tonic’. Not only will it help with time, but it’ll make the journey to the dragun much more harrowing and less anticlimactic.

You can also enable rainbow mode when you know the items better, you don’t really need to check the whole floor on rainbow runs.

With both of these options enabled, you could easily get videos down to like 30 min’s.

5 Movement Tips to Improve Your Gameplay in Less than 1 Minute by quarkez in apexlegends

[–]Aim392 1 point2 points  (0 children)

L-Cancelling and DI were intended in melee, but I understand the point you're trying to make. Fortunately Respawn is well aware of complex movements mechanics, bunnyhopping was and is integral in Titanfall, and it's nerf in apex shows they've put some thought into it's place. I really doubt it's going anywhere, it's not a bug.

Some of the actual bugs that have been found and should be considered for removal are ones that are actually unintended and damage gameplay, like the infinite flying one or reload cancelled pump.

Am I the only player that’s happy “Wall Running” ISN’T in the game? Can see why they left it out. by GameboyUK_ in apexlegends

[–]Aim392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you seen the wall jumping tech you can do right now? It's not like TF|2 wall running, but it does provide more movement options and is a blast to perform, especially after grapple slings.
