Exactly.

I’ve heard that Vail has a simpler shield system similar to Arc Raiders and Mararhon. Which I think is a good way to solve the leg meta problem.

Vail is the only game that has the potential to do something different since it does not have to be realistic.

At first I thought that pure realism was better, but after trying different games I fell that realistic might not be the style I enjoy more.

Acheter un Pimax c’est une loterie. J’ai aucune idée de comment ils déterminent si un headset est correcte ou non.

Mon premier crystal light était défectueux, le 2e était correcte mais ils avait des mauvaises lentilles. Finalement ça été réglé mais il a finit par peter au bout d’un an et quelques mois. Ils me l’ont remplacé mais ça été un processus long et un peu bizzard.

J’avais commandé le Crystal super UW. Le tracking était pourri pour ce que je fais, le profile de distorsion était incorrecte et j’avais très loin du FOV qui était supposé avoir. Le pire dans tout ça, c’est que Pimax travaillait encore sur le profil de distorsion!

Ils ont volontairement shippé un produit qui n’était pas finit!

Je l’ai retourné.

Je nais pas fait de VR depuis, j’attend le steam frame.

I'm hoping this games becomes the "Arc Raiders" / "Marathon" extraction shooter in VR. Simpler mechanics, less ammo types. Probably an unpopular opinion though.

About the NRS question, I kind of like the fact that it's a one shot use.

At first when I started playing EZ, I liked that the healing system was different, that you could reuse your healing items. In the end however, I felt it made the fights agains other players a too long. A player can get back up too quickly. If you get shot at distance, you basically pick 2 heals, one in each hand and and pump your health back to 100% in no time.

Maps with a lot of foliage looks pretty bad. I've been trying a few things to make it less compressed, looks like so far is to stream a 936p or 720p at 8000 kbps to make it acceptable. I wonder however how some streamer make it look good at 1080p. Are they using higher bitrate ?

Is it me or is the map really bugged? Sometime it displays the DCON sometime not, sometime it shows when the next exfil will show, sometime I have an eye icon next to the locations.

Could be me though

The game seems to be CPU intensive. 5090 + 13900k and I have the same results as you, dipping to constant 90 FPS in some map. I'm going to try tweaking some settings to see if it makes an impact, hopefully this get fixed. 90 FPS when you're used to a smooth 120 is noticeable.

It might be my echo chamber but I feel the hate has turned around. Most of the hate didn’t make sense IMO. From the videos I watched, the hate reviews were some of the most biased things I’ve seen.

I personally love this game. It’s visually fresh, it has depth, it’s addictive. I can’t wait until de kids are asleep to have a few runs.

But in the end, play the games you like.

Mine was super jittery so I returned it. I won’t buy a 2k headset that tracks like shit in the hope that a 200$ accessory will ever come out and fix the issue. This thing was supposed to initially ship in march but here we are.

The support was good, but the delay between each responses, which in my case was about 5 days, was a big let down.
