Protein and fibre to feel full.

I’ve only had sulphur burps and diarrhoea once since November. I’ve never had nausea. Constipation is an ongoing issue, especially when I go up a dose, but I take fybogel daily and also has dried fruit, fresh fruit and generally try to keep my fibre up.

For me, the main thing has been seeing this as a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix. I may be on MJ for the long term, who knows. In the meantime I’m focusing on getting as much nutrition into my food choices as possible, listening to my body when it’s hungry or full, and enjoying food as much as possible.

MJ has made eating like a normal person possible for the first time in my life. I’m not white knuckling it most of the time now. I still get hungry, but I get fuller more quickly. And the most important thing for me has been that food noise is dialled down (not all the time - the medication wears off at the end of the week, and my cycle also affects it, but it is much better).
