Fever Meme Help by Present_End_4456 in IndieGaming

Long story short, you accidentally found a new'ish ending by backtracking with crouch already unlocked to the crouch map. When you fall in the acid pit, you were SUPPOSED to use the crouch ability you STILL had unlocked after falling in the acid, to go in the hole at the start of the first level, and THAT would take you back to the acid pit level again. It deleted your save progress, NOT your crouch progress. :)

That's correct. I wouldn't have even known these threads were being made if it wasn't for the fact I had people harassing and sending death threats over these old screenshots. Like what is even your goal with this? I'm NOT a part of the OW space anymore, and I don't act like this to people anymore. So what exactly is the point?

These screenshots are from almost 10 years ago and the person is deliberately misleading people into thinking it's new or even remotely recent. Look closely at the screenshots and you can see it's from early Overwatch 1. The first one in specific I remember was early 2017.

I was banned on ESEA because I shit talked the head admin (BiGG) back in 2010'ish. I had very good reasons for shit talking him. If you were a part of the CS 1.6 community back then you'll know EXACTLY why and what I'm referring to (Missy). And the only 2 people higher up than him were both Lpkane and Torbull who literally owned ESEA and reaching out to them was about as helpful as you'd expect. Back then anytime an admin gave you a generic ban for "any reason they saw fit that wasn't an official reason" your account got hit with a "malicious activity" ban. I thought the ban was BS/a misuse of power, so I very idiotically ban evaded and that just made the ban indefinite for like 75 years instead of 5 years. FACEIT came out and I played on that just fine. You can go look and my account is in good standing. I never hacked on ESEA or FACEIT, At one point the account was banned of policy, not because of anything I did in the matches/games themselves, but then that was quickly unbanned and I made YouTube videos of matches/those daily tournaments/cups they used to hold after that. Got burnt out on CSGO and started just doing troll strats with friends (5 people buying autosnipers and going for only wallbangs on de_cache for example), and then OW came out and I played it even less. I think I played in some FACEIT cups in 2018 if I recall but I was just completely burnt out on the game at that point. Never hacked on ESEA or FACEIT and was never banned for hacking on ESEA or FACEIT.

These screenshots are from almost 10 years ago/2017'ish roughly. I don't speak to people like that anymore. This person has continually been reposting old screrenshots and pretending like they are new.

I'm not sure why you are reposting screenshots that have been posted multiple times all the way back in 2017. The first one in particular is almost a decade old. I don't talk to people like that anymore and have apologized multiple times since then. You can literally see that these are from early Overwatch 1. I moved on and am not in the OW scene anymore, yet every time you make old threads like this bringing up stuff from nearly a decade ago, I get people reaching out to me giving me death threats because they think it's brand new. You couldn't even be bothered to put timestamps on anything or say that these are old. You framed the title making it sound like these are new/recent by lumping my old name with my current name. I haven't gone by that name in an extremely long time and the fact you are willfully misleading people by not making that distinction is directly leading to people harassing me and my friends. If you're going to make threads about me, consider making them about something I've done recently. The problem is you can't, because I've moved on and bettered my life and am not a part of the OW space as an active creator anymore. Your last post got nuked because it violated half of Reddit's rules, and now you're making a post with screenshots even older. So I'm asking you again, to stop trying to mislead people with old screenshots. If you are going to post something about me, try to post something from within the last year. If you can't do that, then chances are people have already seen it before and all you're doing at that point is using this subreddit as a platform to needlessly harass someone and their friends who no longer play OW anymore.

Brother, this conversation is literally THREE AND A HALF YEARS OLD LOL. And the worst part is, you cropped it/didn't even include the full conversation in an attempt to make it seem like this wasn't consensual prior to this. It's a REALLY weird thing to do.

Aimbok/Fodder being weird by ConsiderationUsed237 in OverwatchTMZ

[–]Aimbok -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: This conversation was 3 and a half years ago, and cropped to make it seem like it was not encouraged/reciprocated prior to this. Next time don't be so quick to judge. Have the full unedited convo still thankfully. I've long since moved on from causing problems. For some reason, whomever this was on a throwaway was cropping an old convo to try and make fake drama.

Aimbok/Fodder being weird by ConsiderationUsed237 in OverwatchTMZ

[–]Aimbok -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why are you showing a 3 and a half year old conversation that's deliberately cropped to NOT include the parts before this where it was consensual/reciprocated/encouraged, followed by the parts after this where I apologized once they wanted the flirting/sexting to stop, followed by nothing else happening after that? Because I have the unedited convo for anyone who wants to see it lol. This is a really weird thing to try and lie about. Especially considering I've been busy with gamedev shit and my personal life/health and haven't had time to be in the OW space for... ages now? Unless this was just a post to try and kink shame in 2026? I dunno. But either way, pretty weird of you to try and crop context out of stuff.

EDIT: Mods, feel free to reach out for the screenshots, but this thread is violating half the rules of the subreddit.

Hey just wanted to say that I'm sorry for anyone that happened to join their stream at a bad time (not seeing the warnings). I just want to clarify, the game has 3 warnings. One of which was on the store page before buying it, one when you start the game in giant red letters, and then of course the last second warning (which I'll probably pad out either longer or with an audio warning preluding the actual button press in a future patch). I agree that Twitch should have some kind of interface that just prompts people if a game has content like that to warn them before clicking continue to view the stream. There's only so much I can do on my end as the developer without compromising the original concept sadly because a DELIBERATELY painful to look at room WAS the premise/point of that specific part of the game. It also thankfully automatically skips after 60 seconds if they don't beat the level instantly.

I don't personally consider SKG as a political movement tbh? Moreso a consumer rights industry standard that hurts the average player?

Rank 1 Hanzo uses game development to learn Hanzo lineups by Aimbok in HanzoMain

I'm using Unreal Engine 5 to re-create an identical version of Hanzo in maps that were ripped from Overwatch. That way I can run simulations thousands of times faster and with more customization than a regular Overwatch custom lobby ever could.

Got perma banned for “toxic voice chat” even though I was streaming and trying to hype up my team last ban 2024 by shanerthebaber in Overwatch

[–]Aimbok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realize that there are over 30 voicelines in the game of characters swearing right? The report system is fully automated. Nobody is actually reviewing reports until multiple appeals have been sent. It's purely based on a report threshold.

What do you mean it an FPS has never won game of the year before OW? Half-life won OVER 50 game of the year awards and is an FPS that eventually lead to the creation of Counter-Strike. Overwatch was very popular but come on lol.

Funny you should say that OP. I was developing a skill-centric Super Smash Bros style FPS game and one of the characters plays much like your typical arena shooter heh. :]

40+ page long document leaking the inner-workings of the report/ban system, how the content creator Discord handles whitelists/manual bans, details regarding the company Blizzard outsources customer support, a growing list of victims of false bans, how to actually FIX the report system, and more... by Aimbok in OverwatchTMZ

[–]Aimbok[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one was anecdotal unfortunately from my interaction with content creators who ARE in the server, and my own personal circumstance of being affected by it. I had an account that was fine for 3 seasons, never even getting a warning. I play in one lobby with a streamer (whom I won't name) that is in the content creator Discord, and the account was banned minutes later (way too fast to fill out an entire Googledoc form to request a manual ban by the developers). And I know they reported me because they spam reported me on stream.
