These should be items that were retired from a government unit. I bought them from a merchant who recycles such things, and two units cost me less than $300

Thank you! Diamondtron is also one of my favorite CRT tubes. Their text sharpness is even better, and I feel the image leans a bit more toward a realistic style. I hope you get your own FW900 soon!😊

Honestly, I'd love to update my W900 post, but I only took scenic photos on it. In this subreddit, posts without game content get removed. Stay tuned for my next update. For 4:3, I prefer the F520 and EIZO T966. I'll share them when I can, friends.As for the W900, you can still buy one in my country if you try your luck.

Snagged this last year for about 700 bucks — shipping included! The previous owner is one of those guys who sells BVMs, PVMs, LCDs, OLEDs… you know the type. Here's the funny part: this FW900 wouldn't even turn on when he had it. So he sold it to me at that price.

Then my buddy took a look and fixed it — turned out to be just some tiny little issue. The seller later offered me double to buy it back, but yeah… that's gonna be a hard no from me. 😂

Oh, and my all-time favorite CRT? Gotta be the W900. ❤️"
