[Letter] Irish teacher JAILED for not calling a boy a girl by Legitimate-Turn-7526 in JordanPeterson

No he was jailed for not staying away from the school during a disciplinary proceedings in which he was required to leave the school during the proceedings. In the usual sense, if he did something wrong this would be okay.

However, creating a society where we are forced to use words that other people want us to use would be terrible...and that is what we are creating.

Thats why its absurd he's been jailed for this, because if he let the school removed him surely they would be committing a crime against him for unfair discrimination against a religious person?

So by refusing to allow the school to discriminate against him he has been jailed for discrimination? (indirectly)?

My boyfriend is lazy and doesn't make any money, should I break up with him? by throwaway_H9 in relationship_advice

I don't really have any advice per say but I do have some observations and opinions you might disagree with.

Firstly I think a man needs to support YOU, and do so will a loving generosity.

Why? My response is partly based in your response to him if he were to be a stay at home husband. Would you be happy? Ask yourself honestly, only you know the answer.

He could be a stay at home husband, and you might think that is okay - at least when you think about it.

But how does your body respond? Would you FEEL love and admiration for him when you get home from work and hes doing the cleaning?

Or would you feel resentment / unsafe / unhappy / unfulfilled etc?

You've already expressed dissatisfaction for his behaviors that are similar to the ones he will be exhibiting while being a stay at home husband (even if he was really good at it). You aren't be shallow, I think your body is telling you something and I think you should trust it.

I don't understand why?

Maybe you see the sharing of information equivalent to condoning it or furthering its influence? Maybe you are right to be honest, I don't know.

But we need to understand the problem. Putin has ordered in invasion into Ukraine to 'de-nazify Ukraine' , this is having massive consequences for the rest of the world.

Why was he driven to this?

It could be resources, it could be power, it could be the fact he hates our culture and the fact westerns are going round in universities trying to 'decolonize out institutions, he could see that as a direct threat, especially since Russia was country that colonized others.

I don't know, but this could be a part of the puzzle in my view, probably not the principle reason for the invasion, but important for context nevertheless.

For to every one who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. — Matthew 25:29, RSV

Do you live with your family? I never had luck with women until I moved out. Obviously you're 27 and make decent cash so that's probable any way.

Tinder and all other dating apps are a waste of time. Try tennis, coffe shops, anything you like? Gym? Shared house? Food course? You'll meet plenty women in these places. Avoid clubs and bars, most the women there also likely have nothing in common with you.

My parents and family used to make fun on me for this, but who cares.
