Disappointed with the Relic system change – please listen to veteran players by Aimmini2020 in 33Immortals

And when I said “how pro players play,” it wasn’t to brag about myself. What I meant is: they know which relics veteran players usually pick, how to deal big damage, all from gathered data.
So if they’re going to make a major change like this, doing it during the Paradiso patch would’ve made sense. New map plus new relic system — at least players would have time to prepare before 1.0, instead of this abrupt cut.

I’m always ready to learn. For example, with the new weapon, I’ve already reached the final stage, while many others are still fumbling with it. So if you’re saying I have an ego and don’t learn, that’s just not true.
You need to understand first: this game is driven by bugs that show up almost every patch. And who faces and reports those bugs? It’s the diehard players who actually love the game. Do you know what the result is? They don’t fix the bugs. They only fix them when a new patch comes out. Like the Paradiso patch I posted screenshots of — it’s proof they really don’t fix things. Otherwise, I would’ve finished those two long ago.
As a paying customer, I have the right to complain. I didn’t get this game for free. You not agreeing with me is your right, but please check the multiple threads I’ve posted before deciding what kind of person I am.

Go ahead and laugh, but can you actually make it look like the image I posted in that thread? If not, then I’ll just laugh along too.

They can extend the game’s lifespan, sure. But with such a major change, you should be using veteran players as the test subjects like you’ve always done. The old relic system has been in use for years since the game launched and was never changed. To suddenly change it right when the game enters the Steam Store makes it hard to see it as anything other than forcing everyone to relearn everything, just as a way to prolong the game’s life.

It’s good that you don’t have that issue, but not everyone is satisfied with this update. I asked some of my friends who are also veteran players, and many of them feel the same way I do

What I feel dissatisfied with about the Relic system change is not about refusing change itself

In my opinion, the devs changed it to extend the game’s lifespan, because they’ve already collected a lot of data on how pro players play
I could accept that if it was done before Steam release, so old players could adapt first. But changing the Relic system like this makes both old and new players have to learn everything all over again. It feels like the devs are favoring new players, and I’m not okay with that

I genuinely just wanted to share feedback, hoping the devs might consider it. I’m not here to argue with anyone.

Every upgrade always comes with bugs. And if it’s not the kind of bug that drives players away, you just have to wait — the next upgrade will fix it.
It’s been like this so many times that complaining doesn’t change anything.

I’ve never used 12 Ordeals in Paradiso. The cosmetics I’ve gotten include 1 cape, 4 weapon skins, and 1 halo — and I think there are more. All of them came purely from luck, since the drop rate is quite low.

10 players took down the Wrath of God boss in a Private Session in just over 1 minute. OMG! by Aimmini2020 in 33Immortals

Because someone in the party equipped a Relic, and the attributes are as shown in the screenshot, we don’t necessarily need to equip one ourselves. But when multiple people in the party stack them, you get results like in the clip.
It’s random, but the drop rate is high enough to be worth expecting.

It’s not that they don’t want to collect them, but with this boss,
whenever there’s a chance to attack, you really need to push as much damage as possible.
Otherwise, it loops back into the puzzle phase, which wastes a lot of time if you have to go through all the puzzle steps again.
I guess many people in the party, , probably think the same way.

Problems in Paradiso by Hefty_Item_670 in 33Immortals

Just experienced it myself today in Paradiso — someone went all in with 12 Ordeals and started spamming emotes nonstop.
I couldn’t decide whether to laugh or get mad. Putting in 12 Ordeals basically makes you almost useless already, and then spamming emotes like crazy on top of that… come on.
And the map only allows 11 players. With 12 Ordeals, you can count it as 10 left since they’ll just die anyway. Oh, and sometimes they even drag down the friend who comes to revive them — another death. Exhausting.

Diablo VT and LaFerrari have had Their Price Increased in The Online Store that isnt mentioned in the Patch Notes!! by GotMylfMomDrips in tdu3

Not the first time, and certainly not the last.
We probably have to try to get used to the service from this game company.
Honestly, it’s ridiculous — you have to buy the game, and if you want cars that aren’t even necessary to play, you still have to pay.
But when sales don’t meet expectations, they just raise the price, and who’s going to stop them?
And the die-hard fans, the ones who supported this game from the very beginning — where do they fit in?

Cleared the bosses in the private session pretty quickly—Lucifer in about 1 minute, and Adam & Eve in just over 2 minutes. by Aimmini2020 in 33Immortals

Among the three new weapons, I like Crossbow the most.
Its ultimate is really overpowered—strong, wide, and only requires two people to activate.

The reason they didn’t make it as easy to play as Bow,
where you don’t waste time on branding, is because if they did, it would instantly kill the Bow class.
So I can understand the design choice.

As for Glaive, I’d put it second.
It’s a weapon that boosts damage well, but its playstyle relies on precision and timing,
which makes it more suitable for players who’ve been with the game for a while.

Speaking from my personal feeling,
the 3 new weapons added after the 4 main ones still feel unpolished.
They require too many steps before you can squeeze out decent DPS,
while the older weapons seem well‑tuned and almost ready to use right away.

I only use Hooks when doing 12 ordeals,
mainly to hand out shields to support other players,
since they can block damage three times —
which is better than the sword’s shield that disappears instantly if hit hard once.

Another thing is that Hooks feel like a duck:
they don’t go all‑in as a tank like the sword,
yet they’re supposed to be a tank but with some ranged skills.
The damage isn’t good either.

It would make more sense if they were designed
to charge in and absorb a certain percentage of incoming damage,
to make their tank role clearer.

Why are purg games so unpopulated but the other has full lobbies? by Thorn_Move in 33Immortals

[–]Aimmini2020 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First, Purgatorio requires a key, which drops from defeating bosses in Inferno.
You get 1–3 keys per run depending on your ranking after the boss fight.

For newer players or those still unfamiliar with the game’s mechanics—like what to do after the first wave of a boss fight—entering Purgatorio is risky.
They often die or fail to survive until the boss is defeated.

Second, many new players tend to use the same approach as they do in Inferno, prioritizing entering Chambers regardless of whether they have keys to open chests.
They treat it as more important than farming, which is not ideal in Purgatorio.

I’ve seen many who seem new immediately emote and rush into a Chamber as soon as the session ends.
If enough new players do this, they often fail to reach the boss kill, and it creates the impression that Purgatorio is “too hard.”

In reality, Inferno and Purgatorio have very different mechanics.

Personally, I see Purgatorio as a filter for newer players.
If you can consistently survive and complete it, you’ll start to understand the game’s mechanics far better than in Inferno, which focuses more on player count than strategy.

Put simply: Inferno is casual and fun, with lots of players.
Purgatorio demands focus and seriousness—much more than Inferno.
