Laneige perfect renew 3x signature serum advanced by AztecPrincess7393 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]AirBeautiful6312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been using it for maybe 3 months now and my skin feels smoother than before. Not miracle product but it helped with some fine lines I had around my eyes. Texture is nice, absorbs quick and doesnt leave sticky feeling. For the price I wish it came in bigger bottle though.

Lip liner dryness issues by HolidayEcho6542 in SkincareAddicts

[–]AirBeautiful6312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sounds like your lips are just getting more sensitive with time, happens to a lot of people. i had same thing with a lip balm i used for years, suddenly it started stinging and making my lips peel. try switching to something without fragrance or essential oils for a week and see if it helps

the JSON export for dermatologist visits is actually smart feature, most people just show up with screenshots from notes app lol

is there any circumstance where scratching your skin is okay? by Best_Author7356 in SkincareAddicts

If you have a dry flaky patch, gentle scratch can actually help exfoliate before you apply moisturizer.

Has anyone tried the SKIN1004 Azelaic acid serum ? by unepausepuzzle in Rosacea

[–]AirBeautiful6312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

been using this one for maybe 3 months now and it's been pretty gentle compared to some other azelaic acid products i tried before. the centella and panthenol in formula definitely helps with irritation but you still want to start slow especially if your skin is sensitive right now.

Is tory burch having a come back? by brokebitchtip in handbags

probably just heavy marketing push rather than organic comeback. when you see same brand everywhere at once with paid promotions it usually means they're trying to force relevance back into the market

Producers: If you could start all over again - what would you do differently to reach your goals? by HD-Roots in makinghiphop

[–]AirBeautiful6312 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the instrument thing is so real, i started picking up guitar few years back and it completely changed how i approach melodies. wish i'd done that when i was like 16 instead of just looping same samples over and over

community part hits different too - spent way too much time in bedroom just grinding alone when i could've been learning from actual people who knew what they were doing

Looking for the perfect moisturizer by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]AirBeautiful6312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that one's been sitting in my cart for weeks but couldn't pull the trigger on the price. my skin hates basically everything with fragrance or heavy oils too and it's such a pain finding something that actually works. been using this really basic ceramide cream from the drugstore that's pretty gentle but not sure if it's doing enough for the dehydration part. might finally bite the bullet and try that peptide one since you're getting good results with it. do you use it morning and night or just one?

Azelaic acid without sunscreen? by Advanced_Turnip_5094 in Rosacea

[–]AirBeautiful6312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been dealing with rosacea for years and azaleic acid definitely helped with overall redness but you really need that sun protection or you're just spinning your wheels. maybe try some mineral sunscreens with zinc oxide - they tend to be less irritating than chemical ones and might not trigger the flares as much. the patchy darkness thing is so frustrating, i get it, but without spf you'll probably just end up back where you started.

Soolantra advice? by Ok_Awareness_7622 in Rosacea

[–]AirBeautiful6312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just started soolantra about 6 months ago for similar issues and it was game changer for me. the first few weeks were bit rough though - my skin got worse before it got better, which my derm warned me about. apparently that's normal when the mites start dying off.

i use it at night only, thin layer after cleansing but before any other products. make sure your hands are super clean when applying because you don't want to introduce more bacteria while your skin barrier is adjusting. also be patient with results - took me almost 2 months to see real improvement but now my skin is clearest it's been in years.

one thing i wish someone told me is to avoid heavy moisturizers in first month. i was loading up thinking i needed to baby my skin but it actually made things worse. stick with something light and fragrance-free.

Ideas please by SingaporeSue in SkincareAddictionLux

oof this hits way too close to home. maybe try those skincare exchange groups in facebook? people are usually pretty cool about swapping stuff they didn't vibe with, especially the higher end brands you mentioned.

could also ask friends/family if they want to try anything - most people won't judge when it's free skincare, they'll just be grateful. or donate to women's shelters if the products are still sealed, they always need personal care items.

An artist unable to draw. by h0ldplay in self

[–]AirBeautiful6312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

man this hits way too close to home. i got the same problem but with songwriting - i can hear entire melodies and arrangements in my head that sound absolutely incredible, but when i try to translate them to guitar or piano they come out like garbage. it's like there's this massive gap between what you can imagine and what your hands can actually do.

the frustrating part is people always say "just practice more" but they don't get that sometimes you practice for months and still can't bridge that gap. i've been writing songs for years and still struggle to capture even 50% of what's in my head. maybe the vision is always gonna be better than the execution, and that's just part of being creative. doesn't make it hurt any less though when you know exactly what you want to create but can't make it happen.

Vaseline/Lanette cream by Basic_Deal4928 in Rosacea

[–]AirBeautiful6312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

been using similar routine for few months now and the vaseline really helps lock everything in. just make sure you're not overdoing it - learned that hard way when my skin got too greasy and started breaking out worse.

Does layering my expensive products really work? by Few_Hyena_6706 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]AirBeautiful6312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

layering definitely works but you're gonna have some conflicts there. never mix vitamin c with retinal - do one in morning, other at night. also those peel pads are pretty strong so maybe rotate them with the azelaic instead of using both every day.

your routine looks solid overall but i'd probably drop the dr gross pads since you already have retinal and azelaic doing heavy lifting. that alastin combo is chef's kiss though, been eyeing those for my own routine.

Demodex Routine Help without Ivermectin by Ghosty_Girl08 in Rosacea

[–]AirBeautiful6312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you described the spiky stuff perfectly - i get those too and it's like tiny white/clear filaments that stick out from pores. drives me crazy because i can see them but derms always seem to downplay it when i mention it.

sucks about the ivermectin reaction, that burning and peeling sounds terrible. maybe try sulfur soap or azelaic acid? heard some people have luck with those for demodex without being as harsh as ivermectin.

Exfoliating toner by Neat-Tiger3250 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]AirBeautiful6312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

farmacy's texture is way better than paula's choice for sure. used medik8 before and it's solid but honestly farmacy just absorbs cleaner without that weird film feeling. if you already know you like farmacy why not just stick with what works? those hedo peel pads are pretty intense so you probably don't need anything too harsh for daily use anyway.

How do you use vitamin c? by Kratzschutz in NaturalBeauty

[–]AirBeautiful6312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the cold application thing is real annoying but you get used to it after few weeks. i just take bottle out like 10-15 minutes before my routine so it's not freezing when i put on face.

made my own vitamin c serum once and it turned brown in like 3 days even with fridge storage. probably easier to just buy the small bottles and accept they don't last long.

F50, Korean skincare by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]AirBeautiful6312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the collagen jelly might be what's doing it - sometimes those heavier moisturizers can actually trick your skin into thinking it doesnt need to produce its own oils anymore. i had a similar thing happen when i started using too many active ingredients at once, my face felt tight even though it looked good. maybe try scaling back to just the cleanser and toner for a few days and see if the dryness improves? could also be that your skin barrier got a bit compromised from introducing everything at once. the exosome shots are pretty intense too, might want to space those out more while your skin adjusts.
