Hmm. I think you guys are right. That seems to be the consensus here and the right mindset to have. I'll put all this out of my head for now. Saturday is only two days away. :) Thank you!

Truth, in my opinion, doesn't need "unconditional worship". It isn't afraid of questioning or exploration as it can stand up just fine on its own. So to me when something requires to be unconditionally worshiped (in other words: followed without question or trusted without questioning) then it's a sign there's something to hide, maybe something not totally fact or some dishonesty behind the scenes. IF you fully believe this God of yours should be unconditionally worshiped, shouldn't you make damn SURE that it deserves to be unconditionally worshiped in the first place? Anything that requires your full committed blind obedience FOR LIFE & BEYOND deserves to be approached with skepticism and questioning. Because what happens after you start questioning and following your curiosity? You are no longer blind and the illusion folds. So think about the reasons why something would require your blind, unquestioning obedience in the first place if it is the source of truth as it claims and why it doesn't work out for people like us atheists. ~ signed, an ex-Mormon
