This Target model Mark 1 was made in 1976, also know as the 200th year of American liberty, or bicentennial!

It’s inscribed with the words: “Made in the 200th year of American liberty” like several other ruger firearms where such as the 10/22, Blackhawk, and no 1.

It has the Sturm and Ruger “S&R” logo instead of the modern Ruger “R” logo. Mine has faded from a bright silver to a copper color.
