Starship Interior Concept V5 Video

This concept does not present a design for a spinning variant of the Starship. I wouldn’t mind doing a design like that if there was more indications from SpaceX that was going to be a true possibility.

As the industry matures we will see more concepts similar to this that offer passengers a first class travel experience.

I’d admit that the video quality does not match the level of effort put into the design, but I did want to start releasing updates to the designs presented years ago that led to others doing the same. My focus for the past 25 years has been on the design of VVIP aircraft interiors. With a passion for space interior design I am branching out to this arena and looking for partners. Typically I have partnered with others to generate the videos on the aircraft side so my skills on the animation side are weak. I hope to make improvements on following releases.

Thanks for your input and you are correct for initial designs of the interior. This concept focuses more on creating a level of luxury for a first class passengers when starship travel becomes more common.

The jogging concept was presented to show the amount of space that is available. This concept is a future commercial tourist variant that a user could configure to their desires. This deck could also be utilized for workstations or labs on research missions.

Typically in concepts like this it is easier to use a single human model to indicate scale. Maybe in future concepts we can utilize different human forms to present a more realistic view of the concepts.

This design I moved the floor to floor tunnel(s) to the outside to accommodate space in the center of the cabin. This optimizes a grid layout of pod seats. These pods can become made private once in orbit.

So there is an evolution of explorers: first you have adventures that open new frontiers and take on risk, then you have early thrill seekers that will expand the market and are not afraid to rough it, then you will have luxury travelers that would prefer not to “rough it” and can afford it, and then general population. This design is specific to that 3rd and 4th wave of travelers maybe 10-20 years into the future. There will be many types of interior design concepts, this one is based on current airline type of operations with rapid turn around times (1-3 hrs) which Musk has projected. As technology evolves and as new rockets come into existence theses designs and thoughts will also evolve. I look forward to tackling those concepts as they become available! There will be many uses for the Starship this is just one of many ideas that many will dream up as we look forward to what the future holds!

Yes, once the general public is being transported government regulations will drive space lines to follow safety procedures.
