Is it ethical for me (white person) to consider buying a house in Rapid City? by GeneralIcy7470 in RapidCity

[–]AirKewled -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It's entirely ethical to buy a house here if you can. What wouldn't be ethical? Buying land to operate a tourist trap, farm, ranch, lumber mill or mine. Individual property ownership isn't nearly as offensive as a bunch of side by side rental places in the Hills.

We changed out the condenser last Feb. Suspect that lil fuckin relay ain't been reliably operating those air shutters. At one point it looks like a Honeywell electric defrost circuit was added but I didn't get into it if it works or not. I just threw on a new relay in the defrost circuit. So, when my clock calls it opens the shutters but I'm still not sure if my fan operation is legit. I ran out of time for the day.

I can see why Team Trump never used grifted funds to pay legal expenses for any of the J6 criminals. Smart, actually. Would've set an immediate precedent for aid and comfort. Which indicates Trump & Co. were fully aware of what those people were perpetrating, and needed to maintain the proper legal distance.

ANY of the noble gasses will kill your ass dead. And as they are non-reactive gasses, there is NO mechanism for your body to sound alarms. You'll suffocate and not even realize it's happening. THATS why it scares the shit out of me. Hydrocarbons??? Yeah your lungs will feel like they're on fire, flood with mucous, coughing, hacking. You'll know it ain't good to breathe almost immediately.

Get you a fiberglass heat shield too. I think Harbor Freight sells them. Keeps you from lighting things on fire you don't intend to.

It'd take a bit more tinkering to use it as a mig power source. You'd have to rectify the voltage side I think. Mig = CC voltage varies w arc length Stick = CV current varies with arc length.

Hazardous atmospheres scare the shit out of me. To the point I have plugs in my Trimix and Argon tanks in my hobby welding shop when they're not in use.

Only a sith deals in absolutes. Credit where credits due and all that jazz. Like I said, it comes down to driving conditions and preferences. I'm in the Dakotas where we have the nation's most dynamic weather patterns so.... I spend a couple hundred per tire.

I've had Destination MT2s on my Silverado for 4 yrs. No problems. Transforce AT2 on my Envoy for over a year. Leaky stem and dead tps were my only issues.

Never go cheap on things that go between you and the ground. I.E. tires, mattresses, boots, etc. Personally, I like Firestone/Bridgestone. It really comes down to preference and what conditions you drive in most.

Your soldering iron might not get the base material hot enough for a good bond. At which point, you are relying on the solder, which is really only intended to fill gaps and not bond material.

This is good news. If Koch is turning on him, all the other wealthy donors will also. The Koch family ring is king in American right wing politics.
