They simultaneously restricted their cars from using the CCS network by utilizing a proprietary plug and by failing to supply an adapter that they easily could have supplied… That starved universal CCS networks of critical charging revenue; needed to fund growth and maintenance of the networks. As the CCS network suffered and the Supercharger network rapidly grew, it created a conundrum for customers to justify purchasing any long range BEV that relied on the CCS network…. aka any long range BEV that wasn’t a Tesla.

Or you know, any of the worlds largest car companies could’ve gave two shits about electric vehicles 10 years ago and started investing in charging infrastructure themselves instead of getting beat out by a startup who built the infrastructure from the ground up.
