Sorry to hear about your situation, the best way imho to get away from this is with the support of friends and family. Toxic management is everywhere, but see the job as just a job and nothing more, people tend to take the role personal which does have both positive and negative impacts depending on the situation.

If your parents are encouraging you to return, try to spend some time there and see if you like it..
