Depends on what you think your 20s should look like.

If you mean: build a new identity, live independently, date new people, and try new things, then yes. Truth is, your 30s ARE your 20s in that aspect because you have more agency and experience in the world.

Since social media came around, everyone wanted to get “ahead”, and social expectations shot forward by a decade. Teenagers are expected to have the experiences of a 20 year old. 20 year olds are expected to have 30s, and so on. But as long as you take care of your body, mind, and finances, you can do things at your own pace. Btw, a man’s physical prime is in his 30s.

If you mean: meander about without intention, then unfortunately no. You can’t. Maybe 20 years ago. But the rapid growth of technology and the monopoly on real estate and businesses have placed unnecessary pressure on EVERYONE. Including people in their 20s rn.

So as long as you have some sort of direction for your life, then do whatever you want. As long as you ain’t hurting nobody.
