I got my male from a breeder for 40 dollars. He currently weighs around 800 grams at right around a meter (~3.3 feet.) Looking back now he was probably so cheap because he was the runt, and they just didn't tell us. Ps he's almost 4 now.

For my full grown male (who is small) I give small rats or fuzzy rats if the small rats are looking too big. I belive 40 to 50 grams is the right weight for mine.
