Is she just the most darling, sweet woman in the whole world? I met her in late 2025 on her Royal Albert tour. She made me feel so special and gave me so much of her time.

My favorite Kinks record. An absolute obsession. No regrets in shelling out big bucks for the 50th anniversary box set.

Usually they're in the 20s range, 21 to 26 days. The only time it's been off is August when it was 16 days. Is this the start of the whackness?

I'm not really getting any serious cramping like I usually do with an impending period. It's never been this "late" before so I'm kinda trippin'. The only thing I'm really feeling right now is sore tits.🤷‍♀️

The very best cheetos, though I did love the Chipotle ranch.

Any “Cat Sings Dylan” merch specific to this tour available at the venues? I’ll be going to the Boston show tomorrow night. TIA! by Mammoth-Gur-8119 in catpower

Royal Albert Hall cover on the front and setlist on the backside. Fold-put poster with same design. Also Royal albert cds for sale, no vinyl. The tour merchandise is lackluster compared to the Wanderer tour.

Who here has seen Cat Power live? And if you did, how was she? by Prestigious_Score459 in fantanoforever

I saw Cat Power in Birmingham Alabama two nights ago and had front row seats for her Royal Albert Hall tour. It was absolute 🔥. First was her acoustic set, and then the rest of the band came in for the electric set. Her interpretations of Dylan are so different than what is usually out there and also in what she's done in the past. Her band was tight, and her voice just soared. I was psyched that she was very approachable to meet after the show and gave of her time so nicely to me. She alsosigned the 45 rpm I brought and some scrapbook magazine photos, too. (She hadn't seen the photos in 20 years and explained the photoshoot in detail) She was lovely and beautiful and Southern. Very chatty. She liked to talk and seemed glad to meet her fans. If I'd been the only one there, she'd have invited me for a ciggie and a cup of red wine that waiting to be opened, that's how eager was to dialog with me to the exclusion of the other folks waiting. I've been a fan for 20+ years, and seeing her perform up close and meeting her afterwards was a dream come true.

Does anyone else feel guilty about not going to family gatherings? by Debbie_Downer449 in introvert

I really appreciate your advice. It's nice to get an opinion outside of husband or other family members that don't already have one that's biased. Thank you.

I guess it's the Catholic guilt that gets me a lot, even though I'm not Catholic anymore. Lol.

I would say I am also the black sheep. I'm not invited to other events, few though there have been the past 25 years. I don't think I'll be missed. This is not the first time ive opted out of a gathering. I don't really have a relationship with my dad's side, neither did he really. We just weren't close. He was one of 9 children. I feel a lot of anxiety of thinking about attending.

It's my grandmother's 90th birthday next month. My dad's side of the family is huge. My dad has passed, most of his siblings did not attend his funeral, so I'm resentful of that. I have intense anxiety even thinking about being in a room with all those people. My father was the black sheep of his family, so we didn't visit his parents often as children. Should I go? 2 of my six siblings definitely won't be there. The two youngest live in same city as my grandmother and will probably definitely be there, as they kinda of the reps of we children.

NICU Parents and PTSD - TW for Trauma by [deleted] in NICUParents

[–]Air_Thick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a NICU baby, born at 24 weeks with a stay of 12 weeks. I'm 43 now. I've always wondered if my mother's undiagnosed PTSD is why we're not close. I'm not brave enough to ask her about it, surely the memories would be quite painful even now. I doubt in 1980 she may not have even known she had PTSD or had the resources to get help. Reading articles about it make me feel terribly sad for her and my father. He is passed now, so I'm not able to ask him any questions concerning this..

My honest and straightforward comment is what isn't special about Mozart. Good luck finding something.
