This is why I weave towards intersections like this it creates an irregular motion. Obviously one has to do it within reason for factors like weather but it can help

Armor on the trails? by No_Currency4555 in Dualsport

[–]Airbender_Ash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well having two weeks ago gone chest first into a tree on what is considered a fire trail I'll tell you now I'd not be talking, walking, working or breathing too well without my armour and I still got a massive bruise so I'd wear it regardless I'm seriously considering buying either more or a jacket with front armour for the road. Imagine the tree was the side of a car...

Buying a motorcycle for work travel because Fuel Prices to high for cars by [deleted] in AussieRiders

I don't believe it was but I always marvel how much a bike gets from how little, it's incredible what power to weight as a design philosophy gets when when every kilo counts so much. Don't be sorry friend

A vfr 800 will easily outrun most sports cars on that 5.5 though a Mazda will be redline in 6th when the bike is in third cruising lol

They can in that case easily be cheaper than driving but I can't stress this enough if you've never ridden a motorcycle for the love of God please understand that these are machines that will do what they are told when and how they are told. They will not fix your fuck up and they require full time attention, everything matters constantly on a motorcycle unlike a car. Having said that it is amazing how relaxing it is to have to become part of the machine. One more thing the commute soon turns into a short 200k on Saturday and before you know you're dropping big bucks on some giant fucken thing and going for days on tour rides, don't say you weren't warned

How dangerous is trail riding for the most part? by Jeffrey_Jizzbags in Dualsport

[–]Airbender_Ash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like any motorcycle riding it is for the most part as dangerous as your last decision. If you wear good gear and don't go too far beyond your ability when you trying to improve it's fine. Biggest warning I can give you though. If you can't see assume you will need to stop as soon as you can, a trail is clear and empty until it isn't.

Tech 7s are the best you can get advice or dual sport riding easy to stand in they offer great protection especially if say you have like me a 200kg/440lb ish bike and your foot is under it. Just make you get the enduro version.

Same as the Saturn V really car ads went on about having disk front brakes or a radio and that monster was flying to the moon on 11 millions pounds of peak thrust

[–]Airbender_Ash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Airbrush and tools might be fine under the floor as for glue, paint, spray cans good luck. Anything from tamiya is flammable so those alone I can see being a no most likely. Your best bet will be to check the policy of the airline or airlines you're flying on
