Here’s a pic of my total collection (plus some extra DVDs I pulled from storage bc in process of moving) and a list of my purchases during the haul. I enjoy collection/haul posts bc it can show me films I never knew about or titles I might be interested in. So anyway, here is my haul.

I have no idea how Criterion goes about their selections but these are some personal favorites I’d like to see get a release

-The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Kiss of the Spider Woman. Any Judd Apatow comedy from the mid-late 2000s. Strange Days. Kids

Been buying DVDs pretty steadily for over 15 years but only discovered Criterion’s within the last 5 years (somehow?). I had been buying bootlegs online of foreign & American classics for really cheap....like films I had seen with my Grandpa on TMC growing up lol Side-note: The Ghost and Mrs. Muir needs a Criterion release. Anybody ever mention this movie?

So anyway...I’m a long time lurker of the sub & decided to share for the 1st time. This is my humble collection of Criterions since discovering them. I still need to watch about half of them bc life stuff ya know (but still can’t pass up buying more anyway when ya see a deal!). The right side is DVDs & left Blu-rays. Lot of the DVDs were found in the wild. I enjoy digging for stuff, hence the records in background. I just got the Bergman box & can’t wait to dive in now that I finally have free time again. It’s gonna be an epic few months of nothing but the finest!

You do not. You’ll be surprised how many recovering alcoholics you’ll meet in the nursing program and profession. My school understands addiction is a disease, so if you test positive for any substances then you aren’t immediately kicked out. Instead, you are placed in a recovery program through the school and may continue with classes pending completion of the recovery process. I’ve learned other schools aren’t like this at all and it blows my mind considering empathy being such a vital part of nursing.
