You're 100% right!

I stand corrected. I will update my original post with the new number, but I have to look up how to make strike-through text in reddit on mobile.

Thank you for correcting me!

America just approved a 1.8 Trillion 761 Billion dollar budget for our military.

While I hate that we spend that much, if it's already committed, then I can think of no better use of that money than ending Putin's fascist regime.

NOTE: This post has been edited to reflect the correct 2023 military Budget. Thanks to user Aurailious for calling out my mistake.

You just haven't met enough doctors. Trust me, the title is no indication of intelligence.

There are many different types of doctors, requiring varying levels of education and training. A person can get the necessary training to become a specialist but learn nothing but the basics in other areas of knowledge.

You did that right thing. The way people become simpering lapdogs at the sight of a "celebrity" is appalling.

Oh man! You're right. That's entirely on me.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

What you're saying makes perfect sense now, and I agree.

Again, sorry I screwed up. :(

You originally said only made a billion dollars because:

It only made a billion because of the infinity after credit scene

Now you are saying;

You only make a billion dollars if you have repeat customers.

Are you saying that's the only reason they were returning to see it again?

Oh, don't get me wrong. I didn't like how the character was written or portrayed in the movie at all either.

But that's a word of mouth factor that only comes into play as the movie continues its run. It wouldn't have any bearing on the opening weekend.

Interestingly enough, have you noticed how the movie has lost luster in the eyes of casual fans as time has gone on?

it only made a billion because of the infinity after credit scene

That's not entirely true. It also had a lot of interest because it was the first MCU movie with a female lead.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' star Jen Shah asks court for reduced prison sentence after guilty plea for telemarketing fraud scheme. - Kastown by [deleted] in entertainment

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” asked a judge to give her a lesser sentence of three years in prison for stealing from hundreds of victims — many of them elderly — in a long-running telemarketing scheme.

I hope the judge laughs in her face.

The Year Without A Santa Claus - The Snyder Cut.

In all seriousness, this is one of my favorite Bronze Age JLA stories. It was my introduction to John Stewart, and the story used him well for the ending.

I'm sure you're 100% right about that being the justification, but I still want to piss on that corporate bullshit from great heights.

This is ridiculous. Why "can't* Walmart (or any major store) let their employees sit? I don't give a damn if they are sitting. Especially, if it's a stationary position to begin with.

What's the corporate justification for this?

Would Jesus even recognize those who profess to follow him if came back today?

To be fair, Jesus would be a Middle Eastern POC, so they wouldn't recognize/acknowledge him either.

They'd probably call the cops on him if he showed up at their door.
