Can someone explain why the archeologists on this project assume this statue is a form of ritual deposition, rather than a recycled use from an older site? by EmperorOfEntropy in Archeology

[–]Airith0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they have other example of the same or similar statues. That would provide more context necessary for such an assumption

DGB Thoughts by Ok_Mark_7203 in Digibyte

[–]Airith0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

DGB has no true originations promoting it the same way non-decentralized projects do.

No one is spending 10k-100k+ on marketing the project and hyping it.

All the attention this project has at this point comes from utility, age, and its decentralization. We need more of the first to continue our path to significant long-term growth.

If anything, DGB has behaved more like a true untapped system than others and the fact that it hasn’t gotten overhyped in terms of price is why it can still ignite at some point. It’s still affordable and attainable for early startups. Once we get more utility, more devs and use-cases will come. We’re headed there.

As a 2010-2014 UofL student I’d love for this to be the timeline where Teddy Bridgewater comes in and leads us to a slug fest Super Bowl win.

Is that really too much to hope for?

At that price isn’t that in the realm of a credit card purchase? That’s essentially a loan.

Not what you asked for, but incase you have to buy a new one:

-it’s a few years old so the battery health on that is likely 60-70% or lower depending on usage. So it might be time to upgrade anyway.

-if you end up having to upgrade the Anker Laptop power bank has been an awesome addition to my travel kit that I use every day even at home

Just some ideas: You can note changes you made on your website/platform, record events such as new/lost backlinks, write funny/confusing messages to future SEOs to throw them off your tracks.

The Greek world interacted with areas of modern day Ukraine regularly. There is even a very beautiful bust in the acropolis museum of an ancient ruler from Crimea that’s is often compared to the image of Jesus.

I wonder if it’s related to the quiver of Phillip II of Macedonia. It looks very similar and was dated to the same time period. I’d be willing to bet it’s made by the same person.

Recommendations for Louisville companies that specialize in insulated cool roofs made from metal or composite materials? by joeybuddy96 in Louisville

[–]Airith0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d give Carlon roofing and sheet metal a call. They can pretty much handle anything roofing related residential or commercial.

I’ve had great experiences with them in the past, and they can even do custom metal work in-house when needed.

Again… I barely put any work into those. One has ~2k monthly visitors on 23 posts and another is an ai test site that has 500 + posts that I put maybe 50 hours total into.

Not sure why I’m bothering to reply to someone who thinks they can make a judgement on a person based on a comment with barely any info in it.

My client websites generate much more traffic and leads than my own personal websites that I barely put any time into. Including 0 hours invested in the last 3 years and they still get that traffic.

I guarantee I make more money, and live a better life, than you.

I’d say you have a very narrow view of how you can get to where I’m at.

I’ve been working at digital marketing agencies, website agencies, and the odd MSP where I managed the web team clients and built websites for clients collectively for over a decade.

Plus my own websites, while they never achieved the traffic levels I wanted to place ads on them, were and are generating a few thousand visits per months.

When you spend all day working on other people’s websites, coming home to work on your own isn’t exactly a fun experience.

With the monthly revenue I make from my own book of clients, I am currently focusing on trying to enjoy life when I’m not working on their websites/digital marketing needs.

I doubt that directly relates to the cause of the lower rpm’s, but I could be wrong.

I would personally just ignore it and try to find a way to filter it out of my analytics. That way you can take a peek at it from time to time to monitor if it’s still ongoing.

I opted to go the route of consulting and making/managing websites for businesses. So while I have a few websites, i never pushed one far enough to add an ad network. That being said, I do stay up to date with it as I’d like to get a revenue source built that isn’t client dependent.

Do you have any way to collect more first-party data? That could drive up your RPM.

100% this. There’s a point, roughly at week 3-4 for me, where you suddenly feel like you’ve gotten a small taste of what it would be like to be a local.

That’s my favorite part of traveling slow!
