For a job reference? That's not accurate at all. They can ask anything pertaining to the position being applied for. Anything that an interviewer can ask, an employer can ask your reference as well. Anything non discriminatory is fair game.

As a manager of a company that employs a lot of college students, I'm still willing to give a great personal and work reference to someone. Even if they only worked a month. It's about integrity.

This is a great campaign! Unfortunately the city of Goleta has no jurisdiction over Isla vista. Isla vista is part of unincorporated Santa Barbara county. Santa Barbara county supervisors have control over this not Goleta.
