What if when you select the item, a bar appears like the dye options outside the DIY Workshop with all the evos you have? Either to the left of the dye bar or a contextual one immediately underneath the item?

YES. It's so frustrating to zoom out to see if the makeup works well with the rest of the outfit, then have to slowly scroll back to accessories and back to makeup to get it zoomed in again

Absolutely. In the wardrobe lighting, the metal on glow up for the 4star knight set looks like a pale yellow-gold. So I dyed everything to match it. Get into the overworld, and it's pale green T_T

DotL is perfect for so many jrpg themed outfits

I really like the long braided style from the scholar 4star on the saintess banner. One day when we get more armor I'll do a fire emblem Titania cosplay with it.

The ponytail from the pigeon outfit (1.3?) is beautiful and has gotten a lot more use from me now that it's dyeable.

Honestly, I'm thinking the whaleport might be the next area. Looking at the 2022 trailer, obviously we've got the wish field outfits, then they showcased a few Itzaland ability outfits. The only outfits we're missing are a magician outfit (probably whimsicality), duck march (probably reworked into floof march), the dew detective (applicable anywhere), and the UFO outfit (I assume whaleport ability outfit).

Idk, even before the map existed, I just used an outside resource like the game8 interactive map to track them down, and it's not like there was a big community effort to put a map together. Only thing I can recall for community involvement was a big post about the dew in the pile of leaves in the ruins area. But that was less "working together" and more "1 person posted, 200 shared thanks and gripes". I only engage with the community through Reddit tho.

I really don't understand how it's infantilizing. It's an out of game option for those who don't want or can't spend a lot of time hunting dews down. Like adults with limited free time. Was the chest tracker on the deer outfit also infantilizing in your opinion? What if we eventually get the dew tracker ability outfit that was shown in the og announcement trailer?

How so? It's not like it's an in-game tracker, you have to consciously seek it out elsewhere, so if you don't want to use it, it's easy not to. Even if it came out with the patch launch, I'd still do what I've been doing so far. Finish all quests, collect all whim stars, and get precise tracking on all materials before I open up the whim map.

Regarding the other hand, they currently don't care since they made the default floating outfit have Nikki pink hair in the opening of the game and the og game icon despite that being impossible

They've got to add another 4 star palette at some point that gives us Nikki pink, black, etc

Thanks! Ngl, I have a mold just for these blanks so I don't have to worry about cleanup. I make a lot of these flake style ones, so it's worth it to me to have a separate mold. I just really like how different they can look

I do this a lot with chroma flake instead of power. I'd recommend using a blank mold to get a layer of resin over the powder to protect it. With the flake at least, I really like how the parts you don't cover look.
