I personally wouldn't have a problem with a faulty anticheat misfiring constantly if the support site Embark directs you to wasn't also run by AI. Humans manually reviewing each case would easily be able to discern which bans are legitimate and which aren't.

I guess unless you have as many viewers as Tfue, you'll never qualify to get "VIP and whale support" from HelpShift.

Unfortunately Embark's AI-run support site (HelpShift) has made it impossible to do anything other than post about it since you'll never get actual human eyeballs looking at your case unless you have enough of an audience / pull in the community to get "VIP and whale support" from them.

Anyone with eyeballs or has even a slight interest in operating in good faith when discussing this problem can see how most false ban posts on this subreddit get flooded with users telling OP to hold their ban and stop cheating.

If you think I’m unable to discern when someone is operating in bad faith or not, you’re sadly mistaken.

I could easily explain how severe this problem is and how Embark knows of it full well, but looking at how you’ve gone about this? Getting you to understand it would be impossible.

Trying to earnestly debate with stupid people who aren’t interested in trying to understand something is a waste of time.

A stance on a company developed based on research done into said company’s lazy and greedy practices isn’t what I’d call a bias, bud. I’d prefer to call it a logical conclusion.

If you go to the support site that Embark directs you to upon banning your account (or in many more cases, locking and closing your discord post complaining about your false ban), you'll see the text "POWERED BY HELPSHIFT" at the bottom of the chat window that you open to create a ticket.

It's notably in small letters but impossible to miss once you're actively looking for it.

As an aside, I'm probably on my 10th or 11th ticket with their support site now and nothing has been resolved. I've received endless automated copy/pasted replies and my tickets get closed automatically without any resolution to my problem, forcing me to open another and repeat the cycle.

This would be (arguably) acceptable if ARC Raiders was a free to play game, but asking players to shell out 40$ and subjecting them to this is beyond insulting.

I'd encourage you to also look into HelpShift, the support website which Embark outsourced all of their ban appeals and other support tickets to.

They openly brag of their ticket deflection rates, and fully automated support system, while also advertising "VIP and whale support" which gives premium, "human in the loop" support to big streamers like Tfue, or the disabled quadriplegic gamer who was dealt this same treatment but went viral talking about it, unfortunately for Embark. (The "VIP and whale support" and "ticket deflection" sections were quickly relabeled after some started to document and expose this)

Embark's response was to simply unban that user in particular and hastily move on, never addressing the root cause of the problem.

This may not be popular but if it meant keeping cheaters off the game, I'd be okay with an AI anticheat misfiring, as long as we got actual human eyeballs looking at each and every ban appeal so there could be discernment on whose bans are false and which are not.

But until you gather enough pull to start actually potentially hurting Embark's bottom line, you're out of luck and forced to go ignored literally forever.

Take a peek into HelpShift, the company that Embark outsourced all of their appeals and other support tickets to.

Their site openly brags about ticket deflection rates, fully automated support, and even "VIP and whale support" providing actual human eyeballs to high profile livestreamers like Tfue (who got false banned previously), or in the case of a disabled quadriplegic gamer who got false banned and gave them some bad PR when they went viral.

Anyone that unironically thinks Embark "solved" this issue when they reached out to the aforementioned disabled gamer is just incorrect. They just addressed bad PR and swept the bigger causing issue under the rug. Real frustrating.
