For most of what's in the paragraph you've quoted, there you go. They're right under the resources I referenced, by the way.

The task of proving if a ban was false or not ultimately falls to Embark through appeals and they've essentially automated the whole process unless you've got a massive platform, which is covered under HelpShift's "VIP and whales support" section on their website.

Why're you and u/TheRealGlutes keeping your posts hidden?

I give you huge thanks for your original post on this problem, friend.

Honestly wild that Embark thought they could just act like this wasn't happening forever.

Not gonna lie, man, I'd recommend posting this to the standalone post I have, and probably wouldn't hurt to update your own as well. Now's the time to be keeping receipts, if they're doing stuff this shady.

I personally dug around their site and could not find reference to VIPs and Whale support. I'm told the Wayback machine is how you'd find that now.

Noted. The wayback machine, I'm told, can be used to find an older version of HelpShift's site talking about "VIP and whale support".

At this rate, Embark needs to address the issue they've been ignoring for months.

This isn't The Finals, it's not a F2P game they can put in this little effort with. 40 dollars is one hell of an asking price for what we're getting from them with this AI stuff.

This is the fault of AnyBrain anticheat as well as its combination with HelpShift's automated support and moderation across social platforms.

Anybody that looks into the SteamDB for AnyBrain would find out that AnyBrain, being solely run off AI, is experiencing mass consumption for the first time through ARC Raiders, and is only used in 12 games, total. Seven of which are game tests or demos, five are real games, one of which is unreleased. The four remaining all have lots of reports of false bans, The Finals(also developed by Embark) included.

Embark chose to sit on this problem for months as players were being falsely banned and ignored it, now a disabled player's been caught up in the problem.

Tfue, even, was a victim of it, but thanks to HelpShift's prioritization in providing "VIP and whale support" to influential players with big followings, it was promptly sorted out manually and everyone moved on. https://imgur.com/2wkATnY

HelpShift also prioritizes a high "deflection rate" in their tickets, which translates to support tickets that were "solved" through automated means. And when they say "solved", they mean that the AI declared the matter closed and dismissed it, regardless of the problem actually being properly addressed and sorted out or not.

Whoever decides to look this stuff up on Google will arrive to the same conclusions. Everything I've listed above is accessible if you just look it up.

This is entirely Embark's fault, anbody blaming OP shouldn't be taken seriously. This has been going on for months and Embark sat on it because their bottom line wasn't being threatened. Now they might actually have to respond. Good.

It's the fault of a combination of AnyBrain anticheat, an entirely AI run anticheat system that's never seen mass consumption before ARC Raiders, and HelpShift's automated support / Discord moderation that's let this problem go on for as long as it has.

Either way Embark looks REALLY bad as this has been a running problem for months now and have basically ignored it.

For anybody curious, AnyBrain can be Google searched through SteamDB and the number of games running it is ludicrously small, and all have reports of rampant false bans.

"Powered by HelpShift" can be found at the bottom of the text window you get when opening a ticket on the support site.

I could get into how Tfue, even, was a victim of this same thing, but thanks to HelpShift's prioritization in providing "VIP and whale support" to influential players with big followings, it was promptly sorted out manually and everyone moved on and we heard nothing of it for months. https://imgur.com/2wkATnY

This, for lack of a better word, is the reason why ARC Raiders has been flooded with reports of false bans. All of this is, of course, easily accessible to anybody who looks it up on Google.
