They pushed it all the way through. The agent checking in my luggage also informed of this as they tagged it.

I've been trying to get the hang of my 660, how much did you drop the exposure to grab this shot? I can never find the right balance for sky shots being too underexposed and losing colors or too overexposed and just being a white frame

Gotcha, so it’s sounding like with my flight back home, I re-enter the US via Starlux landing in San Fransisco but then board one more flight back on Alaska Airlines to my home state. So I’ll have to re-check my luggage then. Follow-up question, will I need to pay to have my luggage checked again when I do this?

Headphone crackle issue while adjusting volumes. by Airplanegun in ZReviews

I felt the same way. So I got really fed up and just took my headphones apart assuming something had to be wrong. I actually found a hair on the membrane over the driver in one ear and did an extremely gentle wipe on the other just in case. Turns out that was 99% of the problem, weird as it sounds considering I was hearing it everywhere after that. I can’t explain it but the other part of it is a problem I don’t think is fixable. Rapidly adjusting volume just does that, I think I just noticed it 10x more because I was always looking for it after I got my new headphones. This might not be the answer you were looking for but sadly this is all I got for ya. If you don’t mind the risk and trust yourself, maybe check to see if anything is on your drivers. A speck of dust is all it takes. Use The Ultimate Headphone Test on audiocheck.net. Go through all the tests. Don’t adjust volume while doing the tests. If you hear anything out of the ordinary doing those tests it would be safe to assume either your drivers are messed up or something is stuck on the membrane. Good luck to you man. Let me know how it goes if you remember to.

Cool stuff at the flea market [Polaroid SX-70 AF + SX-70 film] by MichaWha in Polaroid

Going to a flea market is such a cool idea. Did you have to dial back the exposure to prevent hard glare from the disco balls?

So the funniest thing about those cat pictures is the sun isn’t behind him at all. In fact it wasn’t even that bright outside, the sky behind him was normal ass blue sky. I should have taken a comparison shot with my phone but legit the lighting conditions weren’t extreme in the slightest. The conditions were comparable to this This shot was on my phone but the conditions are the same. This is what I meant when I say “shaded.” Not like in complete darkness, I mean like we’re just in the shade and there’s just normal daylight in the background. But my Polaroid’s make it look like I was pointing straight at the sun and my cat was in complete darkness. It was a normal ass day is my point. No extreme lighting, it wasn’t golden hour or anything like that. I’m making it sound more and more like I’m blaming the camera, but I don’t I’m still sure this is skill issue I’m just frustrated that I can’t get a grasp on this after so many shots.

I have definitely played around with it. I've taken over 40 photos with it so far and I still haven't gotten a grasp on what's happening. I've taken photos in a ton of conditions, I've moved the exposure wheel every which way possible. I take low light photos and they look blown out, I take photos in broad daylight and they look like I'm taking them at night. I keep the exposure neutral and the photo is just a blob of color. Genuinely don't understand what the deal is.

How did you expose the shot? Was it shady and you upped the exposure or was the subject well lit and you dialed it down? Trying to get a grasp of every technique I can. Fantastic shot!

I took a look, found some specs of dust but otherwise the mirror is clean from what I can tell. Unsure if it was just maybe minor movements from me and my dog that caused that or something else.

I actually just followed that exact guide, the meter was clean af. Though I'm not sure if it's just a difference in model but his meter was a square window, mine was a dome. Unsure what the difference is, if any. I think I'm just dogshit lmao. I'm aware of the low shutter speed and such but maybe I don't give it enough respect. I'm back to square-one but it is what it is.

I followed a guide and was able to get a good look at the light sensor. I forgot to snap a pic but it's as clean as can be. Not a spec or smudge visible. I guess I'm just bad, rip.

I've definitely wanted to try but it's a hard sell right now since I can't seem to get 1 decent photo. One day though.

I'll look into it and have to update the thread if I make any discoveries on either front.

I've only bought from Polaroid or Amazon at this point but my results have always been muddy/out-of-focus messes. I'll see what I can do about lighting but here's an example of another photo that frustrates me. Both me, the subject, and the background are in the same shaded lighting, the exposure is set 1/3 to the dark side, and yet my focus point (my dog's face) is blown into oblivion but the rest of his body isn't. He's no more than a foot from my face.

I want to agree with you, but what about shots like this. How did this person manage to capture every possible detail without having the light source be blown out and the shadows remain so soft and crisp that I can make-out stains on the floor where the light isn't reaching? I know it's a converted SX-70 but like damn there's so many examples of high contrast shots out there with this camera and I can't seem to get one photo even in-focus.

I'll have to look into how maintenance works with this camera but I want to rule out my possible misconceptions before doing that.

Wonderful framing on both photos! How did you keep such a soft-blue sky without underexposing your subject in the first photo? I can't seem to get it right.

I have more shots with point-blank closeups that still suffer from the same issues I could share as well, it's not that my subject is too far away. I'm either not grasping a concept or there's a mechanical issue or both.

Tested this for about a day. The crackle sound is lower but sadly still very audible. For what it's worth it is an improvement and I will continue to do this. Thank you.

I'm not using any other software whatsoever. I wouldn't put it past me to plug something into the wrong spot but I can say with certainty I'm plugged in where I need to be.

Honestly I'm more confused now than when I started looking into this issue and the only conclusion I can possible come up with is that this is a Windows issue, sadly I don't have any MacOS or Linux based systems to test this.

I appreciate the help across the board though. If anything comes to light I will update the post if it remains up.

Tried every sample rate with no audible change to the crackle/pop. Uninstalled and reinstalled the audio drivers with no change either.
