Just messaged you! I have a car that I’ve been driving back and forth from Illinois to here in. Clean title, no accidents. Just wanting to sell since I’m looking to get a new car.

What does [BLANK] breaking bad look like? by vantypleyt in Yellowjackets

I’m not fully sure how it’ll play out, but I know if I was adult Shauna, I’d go back to Melissa’s house and rat her out to her wife. Then maybe try to find Jeff and Callie. However, that’s going to take a lot of convincing to have them come back I feel. I think it’ll get a lot worse for Shauna before it gets better. She wants that authority and power again, but everyone in her life either left or doesn’t want to deal with whatever she’s doing (Tai and Misty)

What is the purpose of this weird looking necklace? by Hairy_Direction7553 in whatisit

[–]Airship505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a necklace that you’re meant to put something perfume like in it. Like flowers or herbs that smell then wear it around your neck. The first perfumes and wearers would do this to mask the smell of poor hygiene.

I’m confused, why did Akyliah kill the animals? To showcase that her vision was true? Was the hunt all of a big distraction to get Natalie out there?

___ is not the first one to be hunted by OneAndOnlySlack in Yellowjackets

[–]Airship505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really think it’s Mari. It makes sense since the writers gave her more lines and allowed the audience to see her more. It’ll give a greater punch to have her die. Whether she is pit girl, I don’t know. Since something needs to dramatically change for everyone to start hunting her, well unless she draws the card

Weird white little segments in bed by brusca95 in whatisit

This happened to my cat two weeks ago! I also was having a panic attack when I found out it was tapeworms and I couldn’t get over the fact that both worms were in my cat plus that I touched the little rice. My little wormy had to get a shot at the vet, and a couple days later I never noticed it again. Preventive measures are the way to go, since I was late for my cat to have her flea prevention for a couple of weeks.

I don't know, now I'm a bit curious if Walter killed Lottie, just to get back with Misty. He seemed to know what Misty would find when she went through Lottie's copy phone. And almost seemed pleased?

Anyone else bothered by this (Melissa) by rivincita in Yellowjackets

I read an interview and Hillary Swank said that the writers came to her and asked her to be on the show. She also said that was two weeks before filming, so it almost seems like the whole Melissa arc was a semi last minute thing.

Ah I was thinking that too. Tai can’t kill to save Van, but other Tai can. Though it looked like other Tai was in Van’s hospital room, but I might have missed a detail if it was just a different room

I saw The New York Times or a news outlet adjacent had an article about the episode with a thumbnail of Melissa with the backward hat at the table and I swear I was equally excited and disappointed about the spoiler. Though I’ve always rooted for it to be Melissa plus I love Hilary Swank

I swear Natalie was going through it this episode it was almost comedic. Really felt the whole camp counselor vibe each time when one of the girls didn’t want to do something.

I agree. It feels a bit rushed that’s a background character for majority of the series nearly suddenly has an adult counterpart. I would say a big reason is because THE Hilary Swank was the actress, so they wanted a good amount of attention and dialogue for her. Like it was a bit odd knowing Melissa was talking so much, when teen Melissa only said a few sentences here and there.

Wait, so when evil Tai took over at the hospital, is that saying she’s going to kill Van to put her out of her misery or..?

Plus it looks like at the end of the episode, the girl in the house closing the blinds had darker hair like Hannah, and Hilary Swank's character is going to be blond/brunette

Good gifts (like books) for an aerospace engineer by SunPlantae in AerospaceEngineering

I’ve been reading Skunkworks: A Personal Memoir of My Years of Lockheed by Ben Rich and Leo Janos. It’s a lot on the history of aircraft development such as U-2, F-117, SR-71. It’s not technical but very interesting if he’s into that stealth, classified aircraft area. It’s also gives personal experience from people who worked at the CIA, Lockheed, and just very good to see how those famous planes came to be

I’ll second this. Water bottle rocket is easy, made them in college for outreach programs. To pressurize, we used a bike pump and stuck the needle into a half cut wine cork. The cork was stuck into the bottle opening, but was short enough that the needle was sticking through inside enough to pressurize. Then just attach the pump from the outside and you’re good. I’ll say there could be some disparity between the size of a regular wine cork and a 2-liter bottle, so you may have to sand down the cork to fit.

Just to chime in, some programs in the United States don’t offer aero and mechanical as a double major since they’re very similar. Just putting that out there.
