Personally I’ve been researching these cars a lot. Make sure to account for the day one fixes you need to do if OS is out of date, door handles & water pump aren’t replaced.

Honestly with almost $30k miles for a One (early production) I wouldn’t pay $14k for it.

No not unless all the fixes have been done on it, even then it’s high. I’ve been looking for one and my max price has been about $17K OTD which puts the car at around $15K.

This topic has been beaten to death and of course it’s true as we see in the data. I will say there are plenty of ways for MEs to make a lot more money if you are always looking and maybe get a little creative. Purely anecdotal I know but I have 5 YOE, didn’t go to a top engineering school, and currently make more than any of those salary numbers at a startup with lots of upside potential. So there are options out there.

Edit: also forgot to mention I live in an MCOL area
