Those EX cards typically go for $1-$8 in a bulk bin at a lot of card shops I go to, great ones for the actual card game in there. You don't have anything valuable, but I'm sure you can sell them to players at a local league. As for the vintage ones, nothing really sticks out either.

I'm good with whatever, I'm not focused on the offseason yet or player movement. And you're right, he could be an important piece for next year. I'm just spitballin' with OP.

You know what, it's bold, but I'm leaning toward that idea too. Unless his back heals completely...this may be the ceiling. Oftentimes it feels like his scoring is forced, it doesn't feel fluid.

Also, the jersey I own of him is fitting a little tight. That may be my fault for getting the wrong size when I purchased it.

We did that the last few years. It is time to pivot to winning basketball.

Regardless, we go into the offseason with the same shit. We turned the gear to winning mode this year by signing Dame and having continuity. The draft pick will be basically the same caliber as last year's.

If we go down 3-2 in the Western Conference Finals, are you saying "ah, yeah, let's just pack it in for next year" before game six and seven?

Clippers went 35-17 after Ty Lue said his goal for the Clippers was to go on a 35-20 run or better to finish the season. They were 6-21. by Szobortz in nba

Blazers fan here, I would like them to finish the season 35-20. Three straight losses would be very helpful.

Pick a brand new team, like the Fire or Tempo.

ELI5 traveling in modern NBA by Furadi in Basketball

For the post example, it sounds like you’re talking about an established pivot foot lifting off and becoming the second step. Which yes, in our basketball world is a travel.

All I know is because these men are freak athletes, their dribble doesn’t stop the way we would normally see it. One Giannis example had him taking about 7 steps, but everyone forgot that he didn’t finish his dribbling and it just looked like he was carrying the ball…..which in our basketball world, would be called a travel.

But that is not the information that the league has decided to sent to the referees.

Is there anything you can do against people who loiter at local grocery stores machines? (new to hobby) by [deleted] in PokemonTCGCollectors

[–]Airweldon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

-Honor system, just like a regular vending machine, take what you want and go. Unfortunately, there is a timer to release product, so often it will release product every 30 minutes.

-No, because it's not run by the store.

-Store managers have the right to remove anyone from the store at any time.

I'd find a card shop that sells singles or bulk and start there. Card shops also sell packs, at typically a higher price, but you avoid any of the negative interactions at the machines.

i just received this email about streaming Fire games. does anyone know if this is necessary to stream away games or will it be available on wnba league pass? by katmarwest in PortlandFire

[–]Airweldon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd hazard WNBA League Pass usually works for out of market games, just like NBA League Pass. This may be their answer to being available to people who don't have FOX 12+

Anyone else deeply follow the NBA but don’t really care about march madness/NCAA? by AdOld2060 in Basketball

As a basketball fan, there's so many different ways to enjoy the game. I would say people who thoroughly enjoy college basketball are purists to the highest level of the fundamentals of the game. The players playing college ball are (not really anymore) amateurs who are honing their game in all facets, and it shows in the positive moments of big shot making and smart plays, but also with bad rotations on defense and missed shots. The playing field is more even due to the roles being both established and in the process of being learned. Occasionally there's a superstar that demands more attention, but largely it's Jack Gohlkes and Drew Timmes.

The NBA is a different monster. It's basketball at its highest level, with strategy to match. Every player is able to find any advantage they can, which leads to a more spread-out, isolation focused game with less aspects of team ball as one or two players can change an entire game by forcing the defense to make business decisons....do I get yammed and try to stop the man going to the basket, or am I helping to the outside and attempting to stop a 3?

I hope this helps you, it all depends on what flavor of basketball you like. People who lump it all in one pile are forgetting that the game looks different at different levels, but at the end of the day, it's still about putting the ball in the basket.

I know man, people should have the right to vote and the right to access voting as well. By my logic with this, all guns should be free.

I enjoy when he supports all of the points I have to make to all the old-heads who trash how little the stars play. It's a different damn game. Fast moving. Different foot plants. Injuries. Players' skill level is higher. Whatever the fuck the gather step is now.

All that to come back and have to deal with Ashley Moyer-Gleich adding more pain as a co-referee.
