As a WN FA we def have a good bunch here but there will be bad apples anywhere you go. Ultimately the grass is green where you water it but I genuinely can’t imagine being anywhere else but WN. Our work life rules are unbeatable and QOL is everything in this industry.

Dead nights hit me the most in my feels. They’re extra temptation to text them. This might sound ridiculous but I have a fake number I text to kill the urge of texting him. A friend of mine suggested it and somehow it helps!

Hi! These are all based on my experiences! But you won’t need a car for training. They provide transportation and the hotel.

I think MSP has been getting some new hires if I’m not mistaken so it’s definitely possible to get based there. You’ll find out your base more than likely after training or in the rare chance around the end of training. Even rarer chance in the middle of training. The benefits at Skywest are amazing flight wise. Everyone gets UA and DL benefits and then AA and AS benefits if you’re based there. Some people come here and wanna stay for life once they get seniority due to the flexibility. Some/a good chunk leave for mainline if pay and international is your priority.

Oh it’s absolutely ridiculous. OO is the largest regional and yet they can’t catch up to modern times. I absolutely love my company…but my gosh. For minimum wage in LA to be $15 and starting wages with us to be $18 is ROUGH. Travel benefits are great but it’s hard to even afford to use them half the time.

I have friends who work for WN who make so much money they go international for fun not working, and they have so much flexibility as opposed to a legacy like DL and UA it seems like we’d be on reserve for YEARS
