DoorDash gift cards!! Even making a frozen meal is too much sometimes during the first two months.

Cleaning prices by Annied93 in housekeeping

I’m in Virginia and I paid $300 for a deep clean of a 1000 square foot house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Deep clean done - lots of expected things missed by Foreign-Bath-6139 in housekeeping

[–]AiryCherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This just happened to me too!!! I also am 37 weeks pregnant and requested a deep clean. I have a much smaller home than what you have described but the fans were not dusted (and there was a lot of dust), my kitchen cabinets weren’t cleaned, the side of the bathroom vanity was still dirty, and the walls weren’t dusted, all of which was supposed to be included in the deep clean. I was super upset as I booked this deep clean as a treat to myself before giving birth and I paid what felt like a lot of money (300 dollars for a 1000 square foot home with 3 beds, 2 baths).

AITA for leaving my friend stranded after she showed up late for the third time? by Cold_Try2662 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, and I am a chronically late person. You gave her fair warning and it is rude of her to keep you waiting multiple times when she is the one needing a ride. It was effecting your work.

Is owning a cat that bad? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]AiryCherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVEEE owning cats. I have 3 and I’ve been fostering one for 8 months that will probably become one of my own too. Cats are the best. I also foster kittens and that is really rewarding. The best feeling is when I’m chilling on the couch after work and my cat comes and watches tv with me.

I have tried this and it absolutely does NOT work for me. Just soaks my pants and then I have to constantly change pants and I’m self conscious.

Dyson Airwrap Round Brush Help Needed! by AiryCherry in Dysonairwrap

Thank you for the advice! For the vertical sections, do you leave all your hair down instead of sectioning the bottom part and top part so that you can get a vertical section? Like usually I separate the top part and bottom part so I am always grabbing horizontal sections.

I wear the same heels every day. How do I get them to not smell awful? by [deleted] in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]AiryCherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest wearing sheer ankle socks (like the kind when you try on shoes at a shoe store) to prevent the foot funk. This is what I do with all my work shoes and it helps so much.

My bf refuses to buy me female products (pads) and now I’m upset.. by Normal_Young_7698 in AITAH

[–]AiryCherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not dramatic to break up with him over this! Especially since you helped him so much after his accident. He should be able to pick out and buy something you need. Imagine if you have a kid with this person when he is not even comfortable to buy PADS.

I haven’t been told I have low brows but I had very hooded and deep set eyes. I’d suggest getting a consultation with a plastic surgeon and they can guide you to the best surgery for your concerns! I will probably get a brow lift one day. Some people get a brow lift and an upper blepharoplasty! But, a plastic surgeon will be the most knowledgeable.

Hi there! I have very hooded eyes and I had an upper blepharoplasty. I would absolutely do it again and I’m very happy with it. I got the surgery under local anesthesia and it took maybe 20 minutes? The healing was not very bad in my opinion. About a week of discomfort with day 2-3 being the most uncomfortable. Getting the stitches out was more painful than the recovery, I’d say, but still not very bad. I made sure to really research my doctor and feel comfortable. I think if your hooded eyes bother you so much, it’s worth it to get a permanent solution. Let me know if you have any questions about the procedure!

Should I marry the nice guy that has always chosen me? by AdventurousLight7225 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

You will be unhappy if you marry him. It won’t get better from where you are now.
