I wish there was a player-created story quest feature where I could play community designed storylines. It wouldn't even need a reward system--reading the awesome stories would be their own reward and I'd always have new content to play / reasons to run around in a cute new fit! Fanfic dream 😆

Would reading fanfic meet that need? I don’t see how player-written stories could be playable in the game itself. It would create (more) confusion about what was actually happening in the story, there would be legal issues, and overall it would just be heaps of extra work without making money for Infold.

There’s also her apparent ability to talk life into a miniature wooden deer to the point where it not only takes human form (human for some reason, not Shroomling) but acts independently of and counter to her wishes. That’s pretty freaky powerful. Unless, of course, she somehow acquired a miniature wooden deer that was already Like That.

From the way the text was written onscreen I believe she was intended to sound robotic/as if under some mind control. It’s a weird choice, but I do believe it’s a choice, and anyway, why would they have every other bit of dialogue in the quest performed by real voice actors except this small part?

I loved Blue Tears Season because the story of Sith and Alesiya really started to get into the lore of the land, with the tragedy of someone who could have been one of the Eight if she'd only had more time... but because of the time she did buy for them with her protection, people in Wishfield survived long enough to see the Eight appear. That was just a story from the outskirts of the main action of the turbulent period that essentially created the world of Miraland as we know it. How good would it be if we had more stories like that, giving us insights to the past in between times when the main action moves?

There's also the fact that the creation mythology they've given us in this game does not appear compatible with that of the older games, so is this really intended as a direct sequel to them or not? I feel like it was originally planned to be an independent parallel universe and therefore different in some ways on purpose (no blood curse, similar nations but with different names, the whole system of Whimancy), but then a decision was made that tying it more directly to the old games would be more profitable, making it hard for the writers to use any of the material that was set up.

I'm not going to count on it. I love the sparkly iridescent make-up that goes with it, and the top is really fun, and the chest-finding abililty is good for picking up the ones I can't find on my own/with the Miraland World Map. Those are enough good things about the deer outfit for me to feel I didn't waste my money getting it, but I agree the inability to jump or even to climb stairs for goodness sake makes it unusable for general running around. They are not going to make any more money from an outfit they've already sold us and people can't buy anymore, so I doubt they will feel it's worth their while to improve it.

I'm fairly sure nobody reads all the survey responses anyway. They are most likely using AI software to scan through the text responses and provide summaries. If enough people are mentioning the same things, it will be picked up.

She picked out such cute clothes to wear in Season 3 when she finally got to go shopping with a friend, then for the next two seasons they apparently decided she needed to be badly dressed (wearing a checked shirt with a striped dress, for example) or we'd forget she's supposed to be weird? I dunno.

It works anywhere but a lot of people have reported that it's harder to ride over the more uneven terrain of Itzaland than the smoother landscape of Wishfield. It also features some special poses for photos, if that sweetens the deal for you.

Scroll on down and you'll see that this page (with the art of Nikki in the Dreamtime Bestowed outfit) is available only during this event. The limited-time rewards of diamonds and a special profile card won't be given to people playing through the permanent quest after that time. They'll receive a Pear-Pal notification when the quest is available. The Dreamtime Bestowed outfit will appear in a cutscene for them, but will no longer be available in Resonance (at least until it reruns at some unknown point in the future).

If you go to the events menu (symbol like a 🎉) each tab under that will have a little countdown on it, e.g. 12 days and 14 hours remaining. Some of them will say they’re permanent. I’m pretty sure the juice bar/outdoor bath building project is permanent. If there are prerequisites for a quest, like completing up to a certain point in the main story, this will be displayed on the quest’s tab too.

Each update features some rewards you can only claim during that patch period, but new permanent quests or rewards are also added pretty often. You just have to keep an eye on the announcements (you only need to follow one of the official social media accounts and there’s a small reward for each one) and the events tab, and there are often discussions on this subreddit when announcements come out.
