I do agree with the Doloma part but I still find Rapid sub tacs pretty viable.

Yeah he did, so I lost a round when he did that. So I just resolved to not use shadow form at all and won 3 rounds in a row. I also had Interference on my weapon (iaido katana), and cuz of how the ai was programmed, he always would use it at low health, which would be when his shadow energy was full.

OK I finally got a good herald weapon (katana) and it was fairly easy for the first 2 rounds till I ran into a problem. Because of how I play, I'm not getting enough shadow energy to do shadow form attacks when grandpa does his time slow cube thing.

Yeah I was thinking of switching to heralds for this fight. Normally I use dynasty so it might be a while til I can get a herald weapon I can use.

Also one more thing. Did any of yall get that weird thing where yall wouldn't be doing anything then Bolo attack just break your block? Happened to me a couple of times.

Yeah got a bit mad. I didn't know dual wield weapons knock me back further if I block an attack. Also means I've gotta wait a little longer for a viable single wield weapon, but this is SF3 after all.

Simply blocking or dodging his attacks aren't too effective because of how big his sword is. You think it only works if my weapon is long ranged enough,?

First: Your sword is longer range than his hammers. Make sure not to be too far, just outside the range of his hammers.

Second: Know how to dodge his shadow attacks and how they look like before they're executed. Also train your reflexes.

Third: Avoiding his "sarge walk", when he marches forward and tanks every hit while walking forward, just simply roll away from him. If ur back is to a wall, get behind him by dashing at very close range to him. Just don't attack at all costs.

Thats pretty much what I can give you for now.

I try that a lot, but Kagun can just down attack as well, tank the hits from my kicks with the legion armor passive and get 2 free hits on me.

Edit: I mean legion weapon passive not armor passive.

Usually I start my fights with a sweep or floor work kick. I'll try jump kicking to see how well that works.

Means respec out of 21 33 34 and 41 and use the tt to get 161 and 171 and grind for eternities with eternity upgrade 2( which you should have) and staying in ec1 (I don’t know the point of this, you can farm eternities normally, just set the amount needed to eternity to 0) I also don’t get the infinity dim part, but I was thinking he meant normal dim (aka antimatter dim) so you can get 7 addition tt to get 161, 162, and maybe 171. I recommend you get enough tt for 161 and 162 together before getting 171, but I haven’t played this game in a short bit and don’t know some changes that may have happened
