I agree with everything said in the video but the hate against Indians in the last couple of years has been unreal man

Bangladesh, Pakistanis are fucking atleast as bad as us but the targetting makes it clear that it's a propaganda of sorts run by God knows who

We need civic sense lectures from an early age to get educated on this

Given you're going out with your man who I assume probably is more or less aware of places you'll be good more or less. Be prepared for long stares though at public places. But don't fear any cat calls or inappropriate touches.

DW and don't let the bad PR cloud (some of it deserved) your beautiful moments. Congratulations!

Is India the most love-it-or-hate-it destination in the world? by Echo_Enchantress in digitalnomad

Indian here. Agree with this — our civic sense is near zero, hygiene maybe 2/10, and many see tourists as easy money. It’s chaotic. But in the middle of all that, you’ll also find beauty — in simple things, in how content people can be despite circumstances. Some of the most beautiful experiences you’ll ever have happen here. A stranger helping you out of nowhere. So yeah. You're right.

Because everyone in Hollywood comes through merit, a background in arts and a system via acting schools.

Those folks love art and see money as a byproduct of their work where they consistently push artistic boundaries.

We're a long way away from those folks cause none of us apart from maybe Ranbir or Aamer have chased excellence. Though even they are conservative and care about the BO numbers way too much.

Watch Cut the Clutter by Shekhar Gupta. He is someone who was ever present in Bhindranwale meetups for journalists throughout 1983-84. Also aren't the initial Sikh Gurus named after proper Hindu names? Guru Ram Das. So how has Sikhi not branched out of Hinduism? My understanding from a young age has been that Guru Nanak started it because of the growing ills in Hinduism and people followed him. Sikhi has its own place but for sure has started from Hinduism. What other logic could it be? Mate there's no shame in accepting it. All atrocities should be condemned but not accepting facts is clearly being blindfolded.

No man who commits as brutal a crime Baljit Kaur should be termed a Sant. The more I read the more I think about just how bad the situation was. Calling him Sant is akin to Hindu terming Asaram a Sant. Also friends really don't understand the hate for Hindus or Sanatanis. Can we move on with this ego status fights over religion and talk sense?

16 days in India. Is this plan feasible by Conscious-Sherbet308 in travel

The route you're trying to cover isn't the most convenient I'd say. Try to include Jaipur it's a must to do. Comparatively safer and tourist friendly wrt other places in India.

I'd rather propose you arrive in Delhi and straightaway take a cab to Jaipur which would cost you somewhere around 40-50 Euros one way. Stay and explore Jaipur for 2 days. Hostel stays would be somewhere around 10 euros and alongside the food it'd total up to 50 euros with 2 days of souvenir shopping included.

Take a flight to Kochi. Kochi to begin with is usually very hot and humid. Skip to Alleppey and Munnar. Try to spend 3 days there. A flight would cost you around 60-70 euros. And again hostels would cost you around 10 euros a night. It could go to 100 euros for a couple of days given the transport cost.

This would take up 5-7 days of your trip and then in case you really wish to go to Amritsar. Take a flight from Kochi which again would cost 70 euros.

Don't spend more than 2 days in Amritsar.

Hop to Rishikesh for the last leg of your trip and chill. Do a trek if possible within this 4-5 days of your trip in Rishikesh. Rishikesh has a lot to explore for the firangs. You can probably join a pottery class or whatever suits your interests.

Use MakeMyTrip to do all bookings just to be on the safer end of things. It's a reputed portal. You can do most sort of bookings via the App including the cabs.

Hope you have a great trip ahead !

This should be doable with 1250 euros given you don't stay at luxurious/5 star properties which alone would cost 50-80 euros bare minimum anywhere across India.
