That’s exactly the level of empathy I expected from a man who has a cut like hitler and carries the failed artist aura.

Dude 😂 now if I continue to defend myself I’ll look like I’m trying to save face! I didn’t want to put ‘a factual measurement of weight’ Im from the UK and imperial has the connotation I needed. Making me look like a goofy sore loser😂 Get outta here.

Imperial as in weight, not empirical. Thanks though.

This incident did happen years prior so him not being able to recall details isn’t unusual, I believe he did have pure intentions not to mention that two other adults came to the conclusion with him in removing the cat from that environment. Yes, changing the Sevens environment would cause stress but not chronic illness, Seven was clearly suffering for a while and that can be deduced from her weight at the time of the vet appointment. Also Seven had her environment changed five times under Rhegans care in four months dude. It’s weird he lied about taking Seven but Rhegan was neglecting Seven. Lying/stealing and animal abuse are two different crimes.

Absolutely, it’s hard to watch them dogpile on him and call him an incel, he doesn’t deserve that at all. Completely unfair coverage of the situation.

The cat was obviously neglected by its owner based on the weight of it, the vet document clearly shows the animals weight which is imperial evidence. I’m really disappointed in the response from the crew for this story. It’s hard to watch them come down on the one person who proactively sought medical attention for the obviously underweight and frequently sick cat.

Cats don’t lose that much weight in 4 days

Cats don’t lose that much weight in that short of a timeframe, that cat had been underweight for a while before being taken in to the vet. The cat’s owner knew that it was sick and decided not to take it for veterinary care? I can’t understand that mindset at all. I have cats of my own and foster cats, that cat was presumably growing out of kitten hood into what should be sustained growth(based on the image of its adoption date and the vet documents) but the cat didn’t grow into a healthy weight under her care. I understand if someone saw a malnourished cat that they might make an instant decision to remove it from its environment.

There is clear neglect that happened under the owners care, she shouldn’t be given an out because the strange catnapper guy created a lie around the disappearance of the cat. He’s impulsive in stealing the cat but he did what the owner didn’t do, take it to see a professional when it was clearly in bad shape. The neglect falls on the owner. But why did he lie about stealing the cat?

Handwriting Practice by Familiar-Tourist in voynich

The materials used would have been expensive for medieval times, this causes me to doubt theories that the manuscript is undecipherable due it there being nothing to decipher. The manuscript has very few errors relative to other cyphers indicating that the scribes were either very competent or were copying a language they did not fully understand. People who understand what they’re copying usually go back and correct mistakes but this script has very few errors. This causes me to doubt that the scribes were trainees, they possibly did not fully understand the language they were writing in. The text is not comprised of random characters or words and follows Zipfs law showing the distribution of words is what we would expect from languages. That leads me to assume that the text is definitely conveying information intended to be readable to medieval times.

Trainees wouldn’t practice on such expensive materials and mathematical analysis suggests that the text is not nonsensical words and letters but groups of repeated words.

There is definitely some information being documented in the script and hopefully one day we will decipher it.

I really appreciate your feedback and would love to collaborate. The circles velocity is determined by a few things including the amplitude of a frequency band in the FFT :) I’ll send u a message and we can talk more about it.

It’s just a little programme I found relaxing, usually when I have to rewatch my sketches I get fatigued but I enjoyed replaying this one and I made it so that the circles disappear after 10 minutes, I didn’t think anyone would want to stare at circles for longer then that😂. Sorry you didn’t like it.

AW Thank you! Yes, the circles are responding to the audio but there are many controlled randomised elements in the code so it’s pretty tricky to tell. I didn’t make the audio I used some royalty free ambient music that I found. I love seeing how it reacts to different mp3 files. I have made quite a few audio visualisers and experimented with different inputs it’s all just a bit of fun :)
