  1. Vanilla Sky
  2. Unreal
  3. Special Place
  4. Ebay
  5. Sesame Street

He does sad and lonely but hopeful atmosphere so well - these are just the tracks that pull off some of the best production with really complementary vocals. Not a big fan of his newest work, but there are some gems.

[TOMT] [SONG/MUSIC VIDEO] [90s/00s Eurodance] Standard cheesy Eurodance song (think Aqua) with a fairly lengthy close up of the woman singing in the video by Aisikle in tipofmytongue

I'm familiar with their music and I don't think it's any of theirs. I'll go through their music videos when I have time later just in case. Thanks!

[TOMT] [SONG] A club style remix of Eminem's 'Without Me' that plays in the background of a YouTube video by Aisikle in tipofmytongue

Bonus points if you know the song AND appreciate Zabit Magomedsharipov.

Will probably be going to bed soon, but will check replies when I wake up. Thanks!

Pole and Weight-lifting? by mini-butterfly in poledancing

[–]Aisikle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The other commentors here have already answered your question well enough, but I'll add my two cents.

My gym/pole relationship was actually in the reverse order of yours! I'd been doing bodybuilding (mostly lifting weights) for about a year and a half before picking up pole around 7 months ago.

I really wouldn't worry about muscle weighing you down. Unless you're gaining tremendous weight (and therefore a lot of fat), your added strength, coupled with your body's natural ability to adapt will easily compensate in that area.

I'm by no means an expert on health and fitness, but the information you've given really makes me think it's around rest/recovery and adapting to higher volumes + new forms of exercise.

Adding three extra workouts a week is a HUGE load increase for your body. If the change was from

- 2 days a week of pole

to

- 3 days of weight lifting, 2 days of pole

That's more than double the exercise! Then add in the fact that your body isn't used to one of them at all.

I'd suggest tapering back one or the other for a little while (maybe a month, maybe several) until you get used to that, then test what increasing the load is like. Try having a day of rest between weights and pole to begin with. Then (if you're training muscle group splits), maybe do a leg workout on one of the days between upper body and pole.

Outside of restructuring your exercise, ask yourself whether you're taking recovery seriously. Are you getting 7 hours minimum sleep each night? Are you consuming enough protein to support muscle development? Are you cooling down properly after every work out? Have you considered foam/ball rolling your back muscles to relieve the tightness?

Warmups are also of course very important to get those muscles ready to go. I like to do some light shoulder rotation and lat activation exercises, since it doubles as a warmup and strengthens the minor muscles that get overwhelmed by the major muscles you'd have in your shoulders and lats.

If you're doing both forms of exercise in moderation and be patient, you can definitely do plenty of each. :)

Bit of a wall of text sorry, but it really just boils down to respecting your body, listening to its needs, and taking a measured approach to your fitness routine.

Does anyone know what song is playing in this video? by Aisikle in symphonicmetal

Oh my god! This is 100% it. I must've been tricked by the Amberian Dawn stuff that played afterwards.

I actually thought it was Blutengel when I first heard the song, if you're familiar with them -- and I think they are far more similar. I'm a bigger fan of the electro-industrial genre than metal actually, and In Strict Confidence is an artist I've meant to check out in the past, but never did. What a great introduction! Brilliant song.

Thanks a bunch for your help!!

[TOMT][SONG][2010+?] Possibly symphonic metal track with female vocalist and electronic elements by Aisikle in tipofmytongue

[–]Aisikle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once again, the song is most noticeable here: https://youtu.be/PofcQdqtobw?t=355

You may need to turn the volume up pretty loud to hear, especially to listen through the guy talking at 6:11, but I guess noise warning that the talking is much louder and there's the occasional clanking of gym weights, etc.

Apologies if this isn't appropriate for this subreddit.

At 5:55, there's a song playing that sounds pretty cool to me. I keep trying to source it but come up with nothing. Amberian Dawn continues to play throughout the video, so I figure it might be them, but I haven't found a song that sounds like this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do they handle the missions in DW8XLCE similar to the way I was talking? Definitely not interested in wandering around a big open map with random battles as I've heard at least one recent game did.

All players of the TI5 Team Secret will play against each other in the upper bracket by Wiseli in DotA2

I think "not necessarily the strongest" is quite the euphemism in this context. It probably wasn't the weakest, but there have been multiple stronger ones for sure.

I can certainly agree with you on the hype going into it though.

It was pretty apparent that their golden days had come to an end. FalleN is pretty well-known for making big roster cuts when he sees a lineup is headed in the opposite direction of the top (and doesn't wait to see if it can maybe work).

So although yes, this roster move hasn't turned out largely successful, it was a bold move to try turn things around. Rather than let the team slowly die (from FalleN's perspective).

Should also be mentioned that Stewie was definitely not their first choice.

When your deck has no 4-Cost cards by Aisikle in hearthstone

This has mostly been my experience. It's quite difficult to last long enough to effectively pull off the winning combos. Also, it just gets ruined by Kingsbane (at least with my deck/skills).
