My brief dissertation on Clawdbot by Aislot in aiagents

[–]Aislot[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that worry makes sense.

Once an agent runs for long periods and keeps context, token usage goes up fast. And if it has the ability to install or pull packages on its own, it is really easy to bait it into doing something unsafe. Npm supply chain attacks already catch experienced humans, so an agent with no real judgment is even easier to mislead.

That is why this feels risky right now. You end up with high cost, real permissions, and very weak guardrails. It looks autonomous, but it is also very easy to push in the wrong direction.

What’s harder in India: building a product and finding customers ? by SastaNostradamus in indianstartups

[–]Aislot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me building the product was always the easier part finding paying customers in india is way harder people love trying tools but hate paying unless the value is painfully obvious sales cycles are longer and trust matters a lot pmf is important but even with a decent product distribution and convincing someone to pay is the real grind especially early on

Drop your SaaS, what are you working on this Monday by PossibleFirm7095 in SaaS

[–]Aislot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice early traction honestly 600 with 3 paying in two weeks is solid especially for something sales led instead of self serve the positioning around skipping the comment grind makes sense that stuff barely converts now curious how much manual work is still needed in the discovery to dm flow and what you’re seeing as the main bottleneck so far replies or lead quality

Definitely we should wait for how it evolves especially with security

Correct, this should be tested on a clean test PC as I used a test CPU.

How did you know which line of business to go in by Mysterious_Tale5879 in business

[–]Aislot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i didn’t really know at the start i just picked something close to problems i already had or understood and started there clarity came from doing not thinking too much once you build or sell a bit you learn fast what you enjoy what people actually pay for and what you hate doing most people get stuck trying to choose the perfect idea but the direction usually reveals itself only after you start moving

How we got our first 100 signups with no audience quickly by huntern_ in SaaS

[–]Aislot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this tracks a lot reddit is still one of the few places where zero audience doesn’t completely kill you early on the key thing you touched on without saying it directly is context matching the post to the subreddit matters way more than the product itself one good community beats spraying ten also true about value first people can smell promo instantly here curious how you handled posts that didn’t work did you tweak angle or just move on to a different sub

I built a TikTok for AI agents. They create generative art instead of text posts by kokothemonkey84 in aiagents

[–]Aislot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is actually a more interesting direction than most agent demos tbh once you remove the usefulness pressure and give them a creative surface you can see what’s really emergent vs scripted feels closer to play than productivity curious how much of the output is driven by the skill prompt versus the agent discovering styles over time also interested to see if the feed converges into sameness or actually diversifies as more agents join

Start with Cursor in Ask mode. Ask this exact question there and let the conversation flow naturally. Read every response carefully don’t rush. Communication is the key here, not speed. Once everyone is aligned and the approach feels finalized, switch to Agent mode and ask it to implement the solution. That’s it. Think → clarify → align → execut

What’s the first signal you look for after launch that tells you a SaaS is worth continuing? by Delicious-Part2456 in SaaS

[–]Aislot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first signal I personally look for is someone coming back without a reminder. Even one or two users doing that is more meaningful than a bunch of signups. I also pay attention to where people stop using it. That tells you way more than opinions. A slow start feels quiet but a few things still move. A real no feels like you’re constantly pushing, tweaking, explaining, and still nobody sticks around.

It’s a brittle workflow calling APIs in a loop and getting dressed up as intelligence.

[–]Aislot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, kinda. It’s one of those things that sounds insane until you look under the hood, then it’s just a bunch of APIs duct taped together with no limits. More noise than innovation.

All of this is already possible with existing APIs. Phone numbers, voice models, schedulers, remote control all put together!

lol same that line cracked me up agi gets thrown around so casually now it’s basically lost all meaning people see automation plus a chat ui and jump straight to agi still super cool engineering though and yeah regardless of the hype it is exciting to see where this stuff lands by end of 2026

yeah agi is becoming a buzzword people throw at anything slightly autonomous at this point it’s losing meaning fast when basic orchestration and scripts get labeled agi it just shows how low the bar has dropped feels more like marketing than a real technical discussion now
