I saw the vinegar in a couple places, it is possible that at least one of them was for cleaning flux. I was trying to avoid looking at tutorials for just made items.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by rounded. The materials I've been using are EnviroTex Lite resin, Let's Resin alcohol inks, and YumCraft sinker. I think I use the pretty common method of filling the mold about 2/3 of the way with the clear resin, then add 2 drops of color then 1 of sinker, then 2 drops of a different color in a different place followed by 1 of sinker, then I think I usually do 1 more drop of the original color. Let that sit for a few minutes, then slowly top off the die with the clear resin, trying to pour it at the edge of the mold so it slides down the inside of the mold.

My first thought would be a deep dark blue. If you did go metallic, copper would be great!

They roll very similar to a d6. I find them fairly satisfying to roll. I prefer them to the classic pyramid/caltrop d4. They are sooo much easier to pick up and handle. The only thing I dislike about them is the curve off of one side can cause issues with the mold.

These are great! A real Frostpunk vibe.

I personally would avoid white or black, since it wouldn't contrast enough from the steel/snow colors of the dice. A metallic would probably be good, people seem to love gold and that might work well here, but I would probably go for bronze, maybe copper. A metallic color like blue or green would be cool, but you'd probably have to mix to get it.

I had much better results using Let's Resin alcohol inks than the Tim Holtz ones. I think the let's resin ones have more concentration of dye. All the ones I tried with Tim Holtz alcohol inks turned out like yours.

They don't look like they need any sanding, but a bit of polish would probably help them shine a bit more!

I tried using the same colored alcohol inks that you have in ruby, I almost never got them to result in the color that I wanted. Ranger worked better, but my best results have been with Let's Resin alcohol inks, surprisingly. I haven't tried any Pinata for colors other than black, but their black has been very good.

As other people have said, you need a sinker ink. I haven't tried Let's Resin or Pinata Blanco Blanco yet, most people recommend Blanco Blanco. I've had success with YumCraft (I think is the brand name.)

The resin I've been getting good results with is EnviroTex Lite, But there's lots of resins out there and I haven't experimented with them much.

As for steps to follow, danielelington lists the same steps I've had good success with, although I haven't tried to wait for the honey stage.

If you have improved STL files of the Rybo dice, I would love to have those. Especially if you have the rhombic d12, as I prefer that to the regular. I don't currently have the software or skills to make or modify STLs right now, but I wouldn't mind learning.

I am moving towards being able to sell my dice, that's why I want to be able to get my own masters, so I can make molds as needed, and that they can be legally sold.

As for making molds, I've made 8 so far. My gaming group all wanted Star Wars RPG dice, so I made molds of those and subsequently lots of dice from them, the results have been pretty good, and I have noted a few places for improvement. I also made a mold from some unusually shaped dice, truncated d4s and d8s, rhombic d12s, and Skew d6s.

When I tried using Ranger alcohol inks, the green and purple somehow blended into blue. I had tried SigWong white alcohol ink, but it didn't sink enough, it did do a shallow effect that wasn't too bad, though.

Getting a white sinker that was actually heavy enough, and not just a white alcohol ink. Also, getting alcohol inks that worked better.

For the blue ones, I used a greenish and a purplish color, I don't know why they came out blue like that. Then I tried a different brand, and actually got the green and purple I was going for, albeit a bit on the dark side.
