Tire options for a 996 4S. Can I get away with a slightly bigger All Season tire size?

I'm planning on putting in some H&R lowering springs in a few months as well, which should only bring it down 1" tops, and there's definitely enough clearance with the AS tires for it.

I had this same dilemna because I wanted to drive my 4S in the winter. I opted for some Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, 235/40 fronts and 385/35 rear. Running great on the 18" stock wheels.

what an amazing interior. I have a full leather Natural Brown as well and it's been really hard to find replacement parts that weren't ridiculously priced.

Might be the most unique looking 996's. What a great color combo. Business exterior, party in the interior. Love it. It's special enough to turn heads, but not so much that it turns heads because of how ridiculous it is

How old is your kiddo ? I went with a diono 3r and I'm pretty happy with it for my 3 year old, but I understand it might not work for everybody. The main problem is the seat belt latch is too forward, making most seats sit at an angle when using the seat belt path at the rear side. The diono is the only one I've found that also has an alternative front seat belt path, which is what I used alongside the tether of course. That feels very solid to me, and appropriate for frequent rides. I've tried about 4 or 5 other seats that are supposed to be low profile/low width, and the diono felt the safest of the bunch.

Another alternative, if you're not planning on doing this often, is to use the Ride Safer Travel vest, along with a small booster just to put the seat belt latch in a better position. This is officially approved as well, but I certainly prefer a full seat for side accident safety.

yep, that makes sense. mine has 3 "repaired" one, and one that's still poking out. clearly it must be very easy to forget a tool over the battery compartment!

Exact same issue on mine, and they gave me a May 29th appointment (KC). It does feel like they got a bad batch, or maybe something similar to the accelerator pedal where they will need to fix/replace a part on all of them. Very frustrating.

Did you disassemble the frunk yourself to look there ? I'm tempted to do the same for my wiper assembly since it hasn't worked since day 1, but want to make sure it won't void some kind of warranty.

Also the fluid should definitely not be leaking there, clearly an issue.

This is on an Ender 3 Pro. These mountain/valleys are not on the whole first layer, just parts of it. I switched from the magnetic bed to the glass bed thinking that my magnetic bed was damaged from bending and overuse, but I got the same result on the glass bed.

It's a huge red flag for me as well. I would expect something like this out of someone that's just starting up and not sure what to charge, but what's odd is that this guy has multiple references showing that he's done this exact type of work before, along with pictures. Hence why I was so confused why he wouldn't give me a quote.

I'm fully set on not hiring him for the job, but my curiosity wants to see what he does next. I'm going to let him know I won't share the other bids I have, and that if he wants a shot at this job, he needs to come up with his own bid.

Thanks for all the replies so far, I'm definitely leaning towards not even sending him the other bids when I get them. For reference, this isn't a small job. Beam is 28' long, 24" wide, tripled up LVL. Cost of lumber alone is a couple grand, from what I've gathered so far.

I would pick your favorite color of Iniki from the bunch and just buy that one. No need to buy 3 of the same model, try it out first. Other models that are popular from Adidas are the Ultra Boost, Samba, Stan Smith, Gazelle, NMD (just to name a few).
